A most informative report, thank you for compiling it. I appreciated the introduction with interesting background on the event and of course the summary of awards which provided useful background to most interesting game photos.
great video Henry, I was there all day, and what a show, the games on display were of a very high standard, It made me very proud of or hobby, and I think to some extent it is gong through a renaissance again since 2022.
Fabulous, thank you Henry. Some absolute corkers this year. Really impressed most by the huge late Roman’s and the Indiana jones tables myself, but some fantastic tables that is for sure. All the best Matt French Wargame Holidays Mayenne France
I wonder whether ULEZ and Salute parking fees had a major influence? The natural daylight at Partizan is so much better than the claustrophobic windowless box at ExCel.
@@sirrathersplendid4825 It is a major consideration my car is exempt but with Salute parking at £25 and the fuel it is expensive, I helped with a demo game this year, and a return ticket was £15 from Saffron Walden, but it is more about the games, many salute games were a couple of people playing on a blank table, and didn't talk to anyone, there are more wargames on display at Partizan then Salute
I found that most of the pictures were pretty, but you could not tell what the period was what the game was trying to do where things were. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the pictures you could get an overview, but you couldn’t see what was actually going.
My intention was to merely give an overview of the show and an impression of the games on offer. In that basis, given your comments, I succeeded. There are other RUclipsrs such as Storm of Steel and Big Lee who include captions about the games if that’s what you want, but it would be impossible to include the level of detail you seem to be asking for given how little time there is available and the number of people one would need to talk to.
Great report thanks Henry and a wonderful call out to Ken. I love his videos as well as the background shots of the locale - even in winter :) Richard
Thank you Richard. 👍

Thanks for your kind comments, glad you enjoyed it.
Some splendid tables here, obviously worth a visit!
It certainly was!
Thank you for a fab report Henry, and especially thank you for the lovely chat and signing my copy of Martinstaat 1744!
Really good to meet you, Will, and thanks for asking me to sign your book!

Indeed, I don’t disagree-it was very encouraging.

Thanks Matt and yes, there was something for everyone.
I like how your pictures feature the players and not just the game.
Thank you. It’s a social hobby after all!
An excellent report and roll on October..
Thanks David.
Best wargame show on earh
No argument from me! 😆
Seems like more big boards than salute this year
There certainly was, and of a very high standard
There certainly was a lot of miniature real estate on show!
