Ret Paladin vs. Kael'thas Sunstrider Solo (Tempest Keep)

- This is my 2nd time soloing this boss. At my first kill my ilvl was 365. I think it is even possible with worse gear.
I used the legendary mace&shield in this video to absorb the pyroblasts 6:50 but if your gear is much better than mine it's not really necessary. Just use a powerful dmg cd to destroy the [Shock Barrier] (80.000) and interrupt the spell or use a def cd like lay on hands, divine shield or divine protection+(glyph).

@Erotokritinho I just ignore the eggs cause the dmg of the phoenixes is bearable, and I use divine storm only if there're 3 phoenixes nearby. (btw. the phoenixes die by themselves)

Nice video, wondering if you are using any of the weapons for some reason as a ret soloing this? On DK you pretty much just fight him in his room with no issues but I want to start doin on my ret too.
Never give up, this is very soloable. But you will need to master every phase, have decent gear, lots of practice and some luck (mostly when you're fighting the girl add, wait for her cc before you pop wings and make sure you fight her in that small room before kael or she can throw you through the wall and you end up at the entrance). Apart from that learn to refresh buff from mace on time, on pyro use shield and glyphed divine prot, kill eggs when they spawn and you are done. No mount yet :(
@Blauwecannel that shouldn't happen if you're alone. Make sure your mate is not in the instance.
did it yesterday as prot. paladin with gs: 384( full pvp for honor + pve a little), using your tactic, thanks for guide ;)
@Saantho Well actually, i didn't wait for your answer and went in... i failed at KT (need some more gear & practice i think... went to p4 but failed to go through the barrier...) but cleaned the other no problem, 750g/45min :) So if you guys dunno what to do to get some gold as a ret, just go !
@Blauwecannel My ilvl in this vid was ~370. The week before my ilvl was 365 but it took me a lot of tries (about 30) so I decided to buy some gear in the auktionhouse.
But with the gear from lfr and the new dungeos it should be easy doable. I wish you good luck
i don't agree with you, i just did it yesterday, and i never done it with my pal before, i always went to kill KT with my DK, thinking that it was much more easier by playing the DK but i was wrong, even though i must admit it requires more preparation for a ret than a blood DK, I had to change ma talents and my glyphs but it's worth it; saves me from going there with other players :D BTW thank you very much saantho i never thought it would be possible with a pal untill i saw your video, DANKE!
@TOTORODU22 No all bosses in TK are soloable. But you don't have to kill all bosses to fight kael'thas.
I started playin' wow a few months before TBC came out... about the time when you had to buff yourself with seals everytime you wanted to use Judgement, just so you know that (Started playing Pally before The Burning Crusade so I think I know my class...) I really think top geared 85's should be able to do lvl 70 raids easily... That is what i think :P
But what ever, I dropped out of wow now, it feels more like a second job than anything else ;P Enjoy your gameplay though :)
@Saantho So I tried this all day, one day, and I could NOT pull it out. Are the talents you're going with critical to survival? I was able to start making it to Kael himself pretty easily, but I'd usually get wasted quickly by him. It felt like he was just hammering me down, and I'm not sure if I was just missing interrupts or what...any suggestions on what I might be missing?

@Blauwecannel I don't know never tried that boss with two man. If he still mindcontrol you after he leaves instance then your mate should let himself killed by the adds. By the way a friend of mine soloed him as full prot so its also possible. What ilvl do you have?

is it easyer to kill the phoenixs when they spawn or keep them alive in roder to use divine storm ?

I don't think it's possible. You'll have to go ret or prot to solo Kael.

that's because of players like you, winning on how hard it is that blizzard is actually making the game even more easier and BORING ...easy becomes very quickly BORING get that in mind... there was a time in WOW where when you killed a boss, it was a great achievement, where guilds built their legend... NIHILUM with their world first kill on Kel'thuzad at naax 40 ... those that ring a bell? i don't think so...
How is wow hard... you clearly just started playing if you did ANY raiding during vanilla or burning crusade you would know this is child's play compared too then don't blame blizzard they already made it easy enough maybe you need to learn your class
