- Das FunTrain ist ein automatisch, hydraulisch gebremster parallel Tandem Anhänger der hinter einem Fun2Go Duofahrrad (mit Kupplung) gekoppelt werden kann, so dass er als Fahrradzug unterwegs ist. ➥ www.vanraam.de...
Anstelle von zwei Personen auf dem Duofahrrad sitzen dann 4 Personen auf dem Rad. Es ist immer einer der Fahrer, der 100 % Kontrolle über den Fahrradzug hat und auch als einziger Lenken und Bremsen kann. Die 3 Beifahrer/ Passagier können wohl mittreten.
Der FunTrain Anhänger ist sehr geeignet für Pflegeeinrichtungen, Wohngruppen und andere Umgebungen wo Begleiter zusammen mit Patienten/Bewohner einen Ausflug machen wollen. 1 Begleiter kann das mit 3 Bewohner/ ältere/ Patienten unterwegs sein.

Spannendes Fahrradkonzept. Unser Doppelfahrrad ist an manchen Stellen sogar vergleichbar. Nur ist das vanraam eher im therapeutischem / Reha-Bereich eingesetzt, oder? Da gibt es ja viele spannende Komponenten.

@@Van_Raam Danke für die Info. Im Video kommt auf jeden Fall gut rüber, dass ein Parallel-Tandem eine gute Alternative zum Auto sein kann. Gerade Strecken unter 15 km werden noch zu häufig mit Autos gefahren, wobei Fahrräder aus vielen Aspekten besser wären. Doch es braucht neue Fahrradkonzepte, die die Vorteile von Fahrrad und Auto kombinieren. Eures ist eins davon. Prima!

Climbing hills in San Francisco? No problem?
The Fun2Go has a very strong HT motor, if all people on the Fun2Go and the FunTrain are reasonably pedaling then it is fine to go up hill. If you barely pedal along, and the motor does all the work, then this bike is more difficult to use in a very hilly area. The weight of the passengers can also play a role and of course the steepness of the hill also plays a part.
