I really love these snowflake ornaments. The way they are sewn together with the beads round the edge is so clever and pretty! I didn't get to make them in time for this Christmas season just gone, but I have the pattern ready to stitch them for next year!
So Cute!I use my scraps to make ornaments. I buy clear glass ornaments and put the scraps inside. Inexpensive way to add some color to the Christmas tree.
Sadly, leaving thread scraps out for birds is harmful and can kill them. The baby birds can get it tangled in their feet and damage them :( Even if you cut your thread into really short pieces so it can't tangle it's still harmful. Birds can also accidentally eat the thread and that leads to internal obstructions. Cotton and wool retain water and will make the nest cold and moldy. And while a bright colorful rainbow nest might look pretty to us humans, it makes the nest much easier to spot by predators. The birds will find good material to use on their own. It’s nice that you want to help but they evolved to not need it :) If you're looking to provide nesting material for birds, collect some dead twigs or leaves, dry grass, plant fluff, moss, strips of bark, or pine needles and leave them where birds gather. Keep it natural! Or maybe you could even get them a nesting box! You can also plant bird-friendly plants like cottonwood trees, lambs ear, milkweed, clematis, or any other plant that produces natural nesting material.
I have an article about separating threads properly on my Patreon page: www.patreon.com/posts/preparing-your-29907037 I can also make a video someday, it will take time, but this article should be helpful for now. I have lots of articles and exclusive videos, patterns on Patreon🪡 Consider joining my stitching club if you want to learn embroidery with me 🙂💕
Для этих снежинок я вышивала на фетре с блестками, переносила рисунок на водорастворимый флизелин, фетр ведет себя хорошо при смывании все блестки остались на месте и форму не поменял.
Thank you so much for watching 💖 Making such videos take me a lot of time, but it’s so satisfying to see the final results and publish it! I really enjoyed making those Christmas ornaments and I hope you will like it too ❄️
Guided Access is disabled by default. So first, open the Settings app on your device, tap Accessibility, and scroll near the end of the list to select Guided Access. Turn it on, and you’re ready to start. Now, open the app that you want to use on your device. Start a video or slideshow, or open anything you want to keep running. Then, to lock your device to only use that app, press your device’s power button three times in a row (the right-side button on an iPhone or the top-right button on an iPad). Or, if your device has a home button, press it three times instead. That will open a small menu; choose Guided Access. tap the Options button, and disable touch entirely-perfect for digital signage where you don’t expect users to interact with an app. Finally, add a passcode-which can be different from your device’s default passcode-and you’re good to go. Try tapping on your screen, and nothing will happen if you disabled all touch access. Your app will keep running in the background with anything you already started. Guided Access automatically disables notifications, incoming calls, and the Control Center, so the only thing visible will be the currently open app. To exit Guided Access and enable your touch screen again, press the power button three times then enter your passcode. Then your device will be back to normal.
You can use other normal pens, they should be washed away together with Sulky Paper Solvy. You can also print designs right onto sulky paper using your printer.

Your snowflakes turned out so beautiful! I love your color choices 💜 I also want to make those snowflakes for myself, those 3 I gifted to my friends.

I guess I saw your ornaments on Instagram! Such a clever idea! They are so colorful 💕
@@EmbroideryArtbyNat I wish it was my idea first but I saw it on instagram too!
Made these with my mom and sister over the holidays! The tutorial was easy to follow and the ornaments were beautiful!

I leave the thread ends outside for the birds. Cut them to about 4 - 5 inch lengths first.

Hello, I have a question. If I get Sulky Paper Solvy, can I use a normal pen or pencil on it? Or do I still need a special erasable pen? Thank you
You can use other normal pens, they should be washed away together with Sulky Paper Solvy. You can also print designs right onto sulky paper using your printer.
