You’d sit in there for however long, not able to talk at all, and you’d have to either fill out a form telling how “sorry” you were or you’d color or sleep.). Are "graduations" even a thing here in the UK? When I left school it was just "Leaver's Day", and the whole day was a bit of a doss. Everyone would sign everyone's school shirts (often with something rude lol), most people bought a nice notebook from WH Smiths as their "Leaver's Book" for people to sign, that was it, there was nothing special done. Then it was 2 weeks Study Leave, where you had no school but were expected to spend it revising for your exams (hahahaha), THEN it was your exams (and you just went into school when you had an exam and then left again - I remember having a morning exam, us going round one friend's house to eat Super Noodles and watch Shaun of the Dead, and then going back in the afternoon for another exam) and then in August there was Results Day where you all wandered in and milled around the carpark waiting to be given your GCSE results. And there wasn't a "prom", it was the "Leaver's Disco", after which most people went to the park and got drunk lol
Heres my experience for each comparison as a Brit. Just to note, take it with a grain of salt because I am an introvert with close to no friends and basically an observer to my own culture. P.S. I don't remember Primary years I only remember High school which I'm still in. 1. Not been one yet. 2. I atleast remember graduating from Primary. We all had to put on graduation gowns and hats and each of us give an encouraging speech to the rest of the school. Fucking hated it. I cannot speak to a whole audience of kids younger than me. 3. Same as the one shown for Britain. 4. Same as the one shown but we were allowed hoodies. 5. Don't have a dad or a father figure but I never failed any classes so I never did complain. 6. Same as video but not as strict as measuring the tie with a tape measure and the only thing that I ever got shit for was my shirt untucking while I moved around and it was a minor warning. I basically did follow the uniform rules anyway so... 7. I never get in trouble even when someone provokes me to hurt them because most of the time I just get on with the work quietly. I can say the comparison is accurate though because most of my classes have some pretty rowdy people. The strictest teacher I have right now is my history teacher. He sent a bunch of girls outside the moment they walked in at the start of class for not entering the classroom silently and with coats off. 8. I never bring a pound in on those despite the fact they always ask everyone to bring a pound in but don't get in trouble and I'm always allowed to wear a hoodie. Probably because I don't let non-uniform go to my head and still act like its a regular day unlike some people. 9. My school has 5 houses (not real ones just like groups and the colour of your tie stripes shows what house you are in) with there being 2 forms per year in each house. 1 form per year from each house is Side 1 while the other forms are side 2. Meaning in each year group there are 5 Side 1 forms and 5 Side 2 forms. Now to PE. For PE, my school has takes one year group's side. Shoves them all together in 1 PE groups. Splits that group into 3 based on skill then has a rotation between the sports each group are doing. This is done for every side and every year group. My current rotation is athletics. Alot of running. On a 300 metre race track. With 7 lanes. On a muddy field when it rains. Did I mention I hate PE? I'm Side 1 btw. 10. Not left school yet idk.
