Hey Gang!
This tune is one of my faves - and it has resurfaced as a current hit for Felix Jaehn and Jasmine Thompson.
My favorite version is the original classic Chaka Khan and Rufus recording from 1983!
Special "props" to Jon Gomm for his excellent version as well.
And thanks to David Arnold at Tonewood amps - he's an online student of mine at studywithadam.com and he started an arrangement for "Ain't Nobody", which led me to catching the bug to work on it!

What a humble and detailed info you gave, 'far away...' I am far away from what you are playing, but it doesnt matter however my sound, my tempo, groove or whatever combination I could ever get, I always felt this 'far away'-issue and since a short time I can accept and welcome that feeling, cos' now I know it always was my inner motivation to go thos guitar-ways again and get further. 'Aint nobody' was my favorite 2023 in Maisach, so in preparation for the BB workshop next WE I was looking for that one again. Gorgeous ❤

Adam, your playing sounds so much better without thumpick ;) This one is the proof !!! And your arr is so closed to the original, crazy as always !!! Is the tuning the same than on your "Higher ground" arr : playing in Eb ?
Mathieu! Good to hear from you. Tuning is only drop D, so it's not with the A string tuned to G like Higher Ground. I'm finding my way touch-wise with the touch and the fingers in this way....more to come. I suspect other studywithadam.com will want a lesson on this one! Talk soon!
