I remember a month before covid hits my neighborhood in Brooklyn l saw a swarm of 70 crows descended on trees in a park.l sense they will telling me impending deaths caused by covid.
I love crows . I was upset one day and one flew and fleetingly landed on my head …then it dropped to my feet and was gently pulling on the hem of my trousers . Magical
I feed the bird's in my front yard. There is a murder of 4 crow's, that comes and feed from my feeders. They come and look in my windows. There is one with white feathers on its wing. I named it white wing. It brought me a penny and dropped it on my metal ramp. It was dated the year my daughter was born. The other one brought me a roofing nail. I love my murder of crow's. And they love me.
I think these birds are amazing. In late December of 2020, I awoke to the most incredible noise. When I opened my front door, there were 20 or 30 crows in the tree, all making the most amazing sounds. And then, as I drew my living room window, to my back garden, it also revealed another 20 or 30 so crows, in another tree, all cawing! This went on for some 10 or 15 minutes. It was quite surreal. I remember feeling quite excited, at the time. I was so grateful that my sister was staying with me, as it was the holiday season and I had a witness. I love all animals, especially crows. I feed them puppy chow, cat food, and what ever I have all the time from my balcony. Sometimes a single or coupled crows caws relentlessly, to whom I don't know. I live in a big busy city and they typically caw from a telephone wire or whatever on the busy street probably 60 ft away. This one kept cawing, I thought at me, but then it flew to a different direction to a different line. How can I tell if the warning or sign is directed at me? I think that I have a couple that come to get food from me everyday, like the same ones. I call one of them scruffy. LOL!! My cat's get jealous! 😹😼
