Hey Sam, If you put a D ring at the back of the trailer bed you can use your winch to pull a dead truck off the trailer by running the cable thru it and back to the dead truck. It would get the truck to the ramps then gravity will take over.
Depends on where you live. There are 'some' neighbourhoods in Australia that are so ridiculously safe you leave everthing unlocked. While working out the back - my work rigs out the front of the property. Leave the keys and phones just siting in my seats with the doors unlocked. I grew up in a different part of the country and that was back in the 2000s. Crime was real there. Different world now and across the country. Hope it stays like this here forever and we don't start getting outside problems from the rest of the world or governments go lax🙄
It amazes me sometimes that it seems like they will work harder to be a thief or a begger than just getting a job and having an honest living. Sorry to hear about your buddy vehicles. I have a 2010 tundra at the dealership now for the same issue. Quoted me 5800 for harness and then 15 hrs labor on top of that, so insurance got called.
I have a bunch of squirrels running around my neighborhood, literally, neighbors feed the darn things. I’m always worrying that they are going to get into my vehicles sitting around. They got into my one shed. Boy what a mess. Good luck and stay safe
Sam, a friend that I went to school with always drove junk cars growing up. He finally had a good paying job, saved his money and purchased a Mustang GT. Super proud of his first new car. Came out to go to work, turned the key, to nothing, no warning lights, no crank. Opened to hood to find that rats had eaten most of the wiring harness. He was pissed. Purchased a few small animal live traps and set about catching rats. lets just say that rats in a plastic bag attached to the exhaust pipe don't last long. Sam Woods Mousetrap Mondays has some unique ways to capture mice and rats. It's worth a referral to your buddy.
Ya the little buddy trailer is a nice all around use trailer. I'd like an LPX if it could be had with a mini hydraulic tail. Solves the ramp issues and tail clearance.
I can't wait till you get the bumper Pull deck over! I got a little buddy trailer too same exact spec, but with the built-in winch. But I see the benefits of the deck over. Keep up the good work man!
Beginning of this month my buddies company truck and personal truck had a 3/8ths hole on the tank. Some turd went around hit him and his neighbors gas tank, I guess times are getting tough or for shady turds.
Many years ago i knew a fellow that had some kept stealing his fuel out truck . It was a gasoline older truck . So he filled the tank with water and sure enough some one drained his tank . That was the last time he had problems..
3:45 rodents in the vehicle; totally decommissioned new truck 5:20 snatch block/pulley 6:40 4th gen towing a 5th gen 8:05 did the tow test w/ that truck 19/4 36 8:25 kinda daily but not his tow rig 11:01 very effective bumper pull
What brand is the bumper on your personal 18? I like how it lines up much better with the lights and body lines than many of the options that leave gaps
My local dodge dealer has 💩 tachs that usually screw more stuff up . Least that my experience when it comes to diesels with them so I now avid them like the plague
I hope you got a lot on the surveillance system!! My old Biz partner does that here, and they have had excellent results! I'd offer help, but wrong coast. 8( You can get a lot of camera, recording, and data these days for not much $$. Everyone sells them! Also, ambulance chasing lawyers, and career accident victims have gotten so bad here my friends with trucks don't move without video rolling! Front and rear! Lawyers are all over TV advertising for new victims! Get millions of $$!! Notice insurance rates going up? Doubling? It looks like a whole new carer path! Sorry for the rant. 8( --gary
People suck man nothing is sacred anymore Sam it’s sad that people need to steal your the type of guy that if anyone needs anything and you have it I’m sure you’d let it go but don’t steal especially from another man who works hard for his money and provides for his family that’s just wrong sorry this happened man.
Soybean covered wires started @bout 2010 with ALL brands of Cars&Trucks.. Also the one thing Insurance won't cover Is rodent damage....But Nice useless truck...... Now watch the blue book fall,,,, for electric damage..
Arguable last thing we are worried about is resale value. Didn’t buy the truck to resell. Bought it to use it. Worry about fixing the issue out of pocket or what ever and get back to work
Rite! I just was saying, Nothing dead in the water ever makes money. Also the knowledge of that problem can help keep it from happening again..(mothballs can help cuz the soybean covered wires attracts rodents) but that's just my 2 cense. Good luck with I hope y'all get it nailed down @@VBELTandSON
Ok cool Situation is crap no matter what. Wasn’t sure if you were kicking the truck while it was down kind of thing. Might be a simple fix might be bad. Haven’t heard yet
IT IS! Oh no not on this stuff!! I love a the ol Dodge.. I don't love the Regs that make the newer ones not so good too. Also Info is key with that much cash on the line @@VBELTandSON
Fuel cap* Not the point on the value lost. Idea is bs. Don’t touch other ppls stuff. And for that matter. Lucky I wasn’t a full tank or I would have fuel all over my truck and trailer because someone else thought it wasn’t a big deal to steal my fuel cap. Really sweet of you to think that.
Somebody stole my gas cap on my 1970 240Z in 1976 and I'm STILL Mad about that. In my driveway.
Ha I hear that! Can’t stand a thief

I don't know what the hell is wrong with people these days. It sucks that you can't trust anyone anymore.
The problem is bail reform and the cops can’t keep anyone locked up. When you’re soft on crime the criminals get ballsy

Right!
And holy crap that got expensive
Red dirt, Pine Trees and Cidar. Gotta love it
Get yourself a couple of those game cameras and stick them around just in case somebody is messing with you
Cellular game cam. Cheap insurance to catch em

Man that sucks. Gotta watch out for those thieves..... Stay safe and work hard bud 👍
Definitely need to lock everything. Thieves are running rampant.

The fuel cap off a 1999 Porsche 911 convertible fits perfectly onto my 1999 Ram 1500 😆😆😆 (took it off a smashed one at an auto wrecker)
Yikes! Be safe whenever you drive somewhere.

Definitely a clean fit. I wanted as close to stock as I could get and went with this
My local dodge dealer has 💩 tachs that usually screw more stuff up . Least that my experience when it comes to diesels with them so I now avid them like the plague
Sam it's the 31st and the rain is coming. Happy New Year
Was the cap taken while parked in your drive? Crazy risky if it was, hate a thief.
Rodents have caused me lost of trouble over the years. A real pain
Oh no. Stay safe brother 🇺🇸👍
Had same problem people stealing my diesel fuel. I bought me some locking gas caps. Problem solved
Pliers pop those right off:(
With Ryan’s luck anything is possible
People suck man. Can’t have nice things nowadays. Can’t wait to see the new trailer

I would get trail cameras.
For the taco place?
I’d put a locking cap on everything
They are easy to pop. I bought all the rigs some awhile back and realized it was a waste if they have pliers
@@VBELTandSON never knew that. Well at least locks keep thieves honest
Shit is getting to expensive now days lol
Unfortunately people who steal get rewarded and people who are honest don’t. It sucks.
Where’s your big guard dog 🐕?
Very little chance it was at my place. To many 🎥🚨
The downside to showing your life and belongings on a national Utube channels, you trade their money, for your privacy, and security
Glad I show little on here
I live next to corn fields. I shoot my wires down with an anti rodent spray and it has helped me out.
Id be worried about what they may have put in my tank. they have lockables thats what id be doin
Trust me I’m worried. But the lockable ones pop right off with pliers
Maybe fabricate lockable fuel doors for that flatbed. Wont stop a hell bent thief, but it wont make it easy for them either.

How's the Yuba City dealer?
We shall see. They never returned my calls when I wanted to buy but shall see their service ability
Cinnamon or peppermint spray will get rid of rodents under the hood.
Thief will always be a thief

Living in California is a gamble. I don’t gamble so I moved away from California. Only Regret is not leaving sooner.
Where did you move to?
You mess with a man ride and you’ll get his attention.
LOL OMG a gas cap, big time loss
Fuel cap*
