I know youve explained it alot in the video, but I still dont really understand: Do you select which faces you want to extrude for details, seperate them from the base model and then what? you keep mentioning that you duplicate (the faces?), and then another time you mention that you delete the edges? Sorry for the rather dumb question but it was a bit fast for me :D

Hello! Could you explain how you separated the solid wooden side into separate pieces on 4:20 ?
I selected the edges I wanted to separate and used detach component, after that used extrude

hi, thx for this video, i tried to reproduce this boat, but i've a problem at 0:54 i don't know what you are doing, and you do not show which shortcut you use or keys you press. please help me :)
I duplicated the model, on the duplicate I selected the faces I wanted to keep and deleted everything else
