    • @Mechashiva76
      @Mechashiva76 Год назад +17

      yeah, and the contenders are only there because dorna has reduced kawasaki's revs. to compare what is happening now to what Rea did from 2015 to 2020 is ridiculous. Rea was winning without the benefit of having his competitors revs reduced, and was racing with reduced revs himself since 2016 or 2017. Kawasaki was at the back of the grid in 2011 and worked hard in 2012 and 2013 to become champions without concessions and reduced revs of their competitors. they did it the hard way and were able to stay there until dorna intervened. to celebrate what is happening now is to celebrate dorna's corrupt attempts to rig the championship in ducati's favor.

Motorcycles weigh nothing, add a very small person and you got a huge advantage. Only way to combat that is a little more top end power, the kawasaki needs more top end on straight aways to give you an advantage to balance the weight dis-advantage. Just another 15 hp. @@deathcrush9184 Bautista advantage is absolutely his weight. His ability to get off corners combined with top speed advantage means that as the Yamahas and Kawasakis demolish the duc mid corner, each exit and straight is rinse and repeat. Bautista looks much better than he is due to the dorna/Ducati backdoor collaborations. If you can't see this, you are not knowledgeable enought to comment.

    • @db5757

      @Brian Sauers That’s it then!!! Bautista must be forced to gain weight, put a drogue chute on his bike and no more taking to Dorna!!!

    • @czierwo
      @czierwo Год назад

      @@deathcrush9184 it's racing and weight matters incredibly much. Alvaro is lightest guy in the paddock by almost 20kg. Give him a bag of ballast to equalize and we will see. Even if his bike is stronger, with more weight tires will be giving up just like other guys donuts, and skill will shine. With more power and lowest weight, he has way too much advantage. Most notable in full length races. His tires don't fade at the same rate.

    • @Mechashiva76
      @Mechashiva76 Год назад +6

      @@db5757 yes, this is because kawasaki is the only manufacturer who cares about WSBK. Honda and Ducati (and Yamaha) couldn't care less about wsbk and are just focused on motogp. at the same time, they were being embarrassed by kawasaki running away with championships for 6 years. they weren't willing to step up in wsbk so dorna did their best to cripple kawasaki (isn't it ironic that dorna would punish the one manufacturer who actually cares about wsbk?). in the meantime, Ducati has definitely done some catching up and has a good rider on their bike. they no longer need concessions or a huge rev advantage, but my guess is Dorna wants ducati to dominate for a while because all the fans cried and complained when Rea was winning and breaking records. I stand by my statement that this ducati domination would not be happening if Rea had his full revs... as the other manufactures all basically have. the rev limits are most severe and effective for kawasaki.

    It's beyond a joke now, the technical rules on rev limits need to be completely revised. If one bike has a rev limit of 16000 and another 14500 (for example), if both bikes are geared for 200mph , the machine with 16k revs will have lower gear ratios than the other - even if the machines made the same power, the lower geared bike accelerates faster. The reality is that the higher revving machine is making more power , with a small rider the reduction in tyre wear means there's only one result....For the sake of the series I hope the organisers wake up and smell the coffee !!

      Kawasaki has never had revs removed. In 2020, the bike turned up with a higher rev limit that had been used in testing but the engine was not new enough to warrant a different limit. The rev limit is set in the week after the homologation dyno test.

    Dorna screwed up Aprilia 2013 or 2014 then Ducati 2019 now Kawasaki with there ... Performance leveling ?... Regulations and penalties. Dorna ..get your fingers out of engineering ,you are promoters . Drop the rev limits, the ridiculous ... bike is too fast in racing .. rules .Performance finds its own level . No banning ,let the manufacturers build the best bike they can and tight /competitive racing will be back in wsbk

      Correct, let the Teams run what they brung. Its so stupid watching the Duc just gap any of the bikes, we have eyes and can see, its ridiculous. take the restrictions off Kawasaki and any others, then lets see what the race day looks like. As of now I know, and you know, who is going to win next race and so on, I can also predict who is the 2023 WSBK champion, and so can any one else. This is why I am not watching, and loosely checking WSBK, the unfair restrictions just make it no fun.

      I've been saying this from the start. Their rules and regulations are picking the winner . There is a big difference in power when you have Ducatis 16200 revs compared to kawasaki 14500. Totally unfair. Dorna have ruined an exciting series.

    The WSS Ducati was restricted at the weekend, like it mattered as it won by a mile.
    Throw in the rubbish TV direction us viewers have to suffer, I can see WSB going the way of F1 for me - the big off switch.

    Thing is, It's alright saying Ducati this & Alvaro that...... But for the most part Toprak is beating Rea more often than not. I think after not having any opposition for 5+ seasons it doesn't look good when you start bleating about the Rules when you are not winning. AB19 was a high quality Moto GP rider, Something Rea isn't. Circumstances played their part in why things happened as they did. But just coming across as a Moaner now......
