Completely agree, I was watching it cringing a little at Raining Blood and then the transition into Black Magic is where I started to perk up a bit. Then the vocals came in and it was like everything shifted to a completely different gear and kind of blew me away to be honest. Maybe it's more in line with Mark's natural vocal ability or he just knows that era of Slayer better or something.
Like from Carrie King’s normal town or his normal live tone because you know that this dude uses like fucking eight cabinets, right ? And they’re in a very small room it’s going to sound that way, bro usually when a band plays live, they sound heavier than the recording. If the audio engineer dose his job right anyways lol
Yea. BM was very good. I agree that the rest is just cover level playing. I’ve seen several videos of their set of different songs. The timing, quality and production is just off.
@@loosebacontrails666slayer was more than Paul and Kerry. The original lineup destroyed. Paul and Gary in it never quite sounded like Slayer really. I’ve seen both lineups live many times and enjoy them both for what they are. But this ain’t Slayer and there are better slayer cover bands out there to be honest. Paul and Kerry should’ve rehearsed more with this lineup before taking the show on the road.
Mark made it justice especially on ''Black Magic'', he sang it just like on 80's era! Lucifer's proud🖤🤘🤘
Vocals on Black Magic were spot on. Loved it!
I think they sound great everybody's going to miss Tom... But kerry King is still doing it man he ain't done!
That was a great playing of Black Magic. Captured early Slayer vibes to be honest.

Get a life virgins
🔥🔥🔥
Kerry said Shrapnel had a Scropions-influenced riff. You mean Slayer rather than Scropions, I assume?
As soon as intro begins I thought of Animal Magnetism, so... Yeah, Scorpions.
❤
is it just me or does Pauls drumming sound a bit sloppy?
Like always?
The whole band sounded a bit off in some points. Think they’re figuring out their groove still
He,s no lombardo + getting old
I have the impression that the guitar tone is different from usual, it sounds heavier.

Truthfully I though Phil's tone was terrible, but maybe it's the just phone recording
Yeah a lot of it was the shitty mobile audio recording but the tone definitely has more mud in it than we are used to hearing with these songs.
@@anthonycook5238 Carrie King 🤣🤣🤣
Sounds insane to me..
Love the band... Looks like Kerry has ran out of rifts 🤔
Riffs... Plenty more..
paul bostaph necesita trigger urgente en los bombos
tom araya manca e si sente
Slay with a different voice.
This is more death angelu
It really is evil
Black Magic actually sounded good, like REALLY good. Don't care for the rest though. It feels like a mediocre Slayer cover band to me.
Paul Bostaph killin it
