I'm in a good position to save money and build my purchasing power. I just don't see prices going up unless wages shoot up (unlikely) or rates come down (also unlikely). I personally think there will be a crash this winter because in my market (SLC, UT) we've had record low inventory and STILL see price cuts every week. The fundamentals just weren't there the past two years. That's bubble behavior. Buyer beware.

Not a bad idea, if you can. I still don’t think it will be a “crash” that many are saying. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Of coarse wait if you dont need to buy. Rates and home prices are high, if u buy a home today you risk loosing value if andvwhen prices drop. posinle leaving u upside down!

Waiting isn’t a bad idea, if you don’t need to buy. But prices most likely won’t drop enough to make a noticeable difference. As soon as rates drop, it will be a frenzy with the low inventory. I hope prices do drop, there will be more opportunities for everyone.

I think people also need to think longer term about finances and stay conservative with spending.
