- In this video, Pat and I go down the main shaft to one of the lower levers that’s usually off-limits and which hasn’t been visited by a whole lot of folks before I got here.
Disclaimer: this is not an entry into an abandoned mine nor is it a trespass. I own this mine as a patented property.
That skeleton is a deer! Didn’t expect deer out there! Kind of surprised. My first vote was for a chupacabra! 👍🤪👌😁
Nice tour Ross.
Thx
A fiber optic scope would be a good investment to check behind piles of rocks.Bore scope,Endoscope.
I bet Newton hasn’t been in the Noonday!
Ross , I believe that skeleton is non other than the now extinct Jackalope.
THANKS, this brings back memories of searching the mines around GOODSPRINGS NV in the mid 70s. I can smell it. Ross you just made an HISTORICAL DOCUMENTARY.
So. Much appreciated. WOW YIKES N WOW...
WOW, never a dull minute. You both act like you're walking in the park! You're brave folks, and you know what you are doing. I am looking forward to Part 2, Ross. We know you got out.🤠🎊
Rhonda, that is such a good point! They are so nonchalant. I would be sweating bullets and probably fall to my demise! 😮😮😮
@@DeborahFlorian-gy6lw EXACTLY, I *know you just described me, Deborah. That is true. They definitely are so nonchalant, and casual.
Have a lovely day.🙂🤗
You have a lovely day as well!!! 🥰🥰🥰
@@DeborahFlorian-gy6lw 🏡😳😃💛
Blacktail Jackrabbit
great video/trip down into the dark ...
have a great day, be safe,
Cool explore. Always enjoy your rambles down into the mines. Maybe that hapless creature was a small coyote? I imagine it's their territory. 😎😎😎
You have lots of guts.
I live here. I gotta know what’s down there.
Thanks again for showing us what a brutal tough life that was and then you died!
Nice look
Exploration mode, looks great. Nice vid. I’ll soon be there to help move muck to expedite your tours.
There's Gobs of History down there! It could be your slogan. Of course, I want credit if it takes off.
Nice , should be a good season . Stay safe.
That looks like a kangaroo skeleton to me now I know where she tried to hide the body too creepy
Sign the waivers.
Nothing like having wonderful mines in the backyard. Increíble!
Actually under my backyard. 😎 and the Columbia mine is my basement.
I think it is a Jackrabbit. :)
Miners cat?
Thanks Ross
Thanks for sharing your adventure! Be safe🙂👍🏻
Thank you! Will do!
Good explore thanks for taking us along looking forward to part 2, added a like and FB share too cheers.
Much appreciated! Thank you.
How often do these mines collapse?
Great tour with more mysteries yet to discover. Thanks Ross.
Glad you enjoyed it. More to come!
👍🐾
I wonder if you could find maps of the mines and surface structures.
I’ve seen some. They’re available.
Any idea how many miners worked these mines at any given time? 12/16 hour days?
No real idea as to either, and obviously both changed over time as demand for the metal rose and fell. I know that during World War I, they were full production. When the war ended went idle for an almost a year due to a decrease in demand.
@@tecopamines thank you
I want to go down that backwards ladder and see what’s down there.
We all do.
I think the "george" pipe is galvanized not corrugated.... what is "three apples"?
Old kid joke. Smurfs were “three apples high”. Smurfs were little. Pat is … well I don’t want to get kicked so I’ll stop.
@@tecopamines Gotit! Pat is not part of the "Blue Man Group" either..... Thanks for the explanation....
Wow 😊 great vlog thank you for sharing.
I’m glad you like it. Please like and subscribe.
Mountain lion ?
Have you taken a metal detector in the mines?
Nope. Too much scrap metal everywhere
Too bad you can't fly a drone down the unexplored shafts as a safety check.
They don’t work well there.
@@tecopamines I'm pretty sure they work off cell towers and the cell signal down in a mine sucks.
Hello Ross this is a Great Explorer into the un known part of the mine how lucky we are that you took us along ⛏️ P.S. I diid see the expore of this mine with Tom and Julie from abandoned mine exploring ⛏️thank you looking forward to part 2
Glad you enjoyed it
Please *answer/respond* to your dedicated viewers.
I usually do. Which ones?
@tecopamines Well, anything with a question mark at the end of the sentence. Hundreds, thousands(?) of your fans will never be able to visit Tecopa Mines. Their interests and *your answers to* will generate more positive clicks. I'm the guy who donated the HF radio. 😊😊😊
I do try to answer as many as I can.
@@tecopamines And you do a good job doing it!
Is it too dusty to fly a drone through some of the areas?
Too constricted.
Very interesting visit Ross and waiting for Part two ! I think the skeleton is some kind of a bunny.
We think so too.
