    Great videos. Can you do something on 4-4-2 and do you think its still possible to play with a sweeper in modern hockey?

      442 for me is more of a football formation but yes the 1333 is a great system which has the sweeper. Pretty much the same as 4333 but you split the CB

      @@hockey4life418 Yes, 1-3-3-3 is probably what I meant! The (1+3) is kind of 4 at the back on push back but then on sweeper obviously has more freedom than CB. Maybe you could do something on playing with a sweeper - pros/cons. Thank you.

      @@TangibleLife Sorry for taking so long to reply. I would set out offensively the same as I described in the video but for transferring I prefer the 2 centre back options. However, promoting one into the midfield if the opposition are strong there is an option but the mindset of outletting remains the same. For a press though, and the sweeper being a front sweeper check out Field Hockey Education channel and look at latest video on 3/4 press. I really like it and will be moving away from zonal as too easy to go wrong.
