I'm seen a lot of kids behave like this in k dramas .I hear this because some of our real life events are used to create stories..I have seen in some k dramas children even try to commit suicide due to harassment by other school children.
depends on which neighborhood you live in. not all the schools are like that, but some are. and because kdramas reflect korean society, what you're seeing on dramas are basically somewhat true suicide do happen in korean high schools through bullying.
