Honestly it was coming....Lisa isn't a minor... being an adult doesn't only mean to follow your heart and do whatever you want to. Sometimes being an adult means using your common sense before doing something. Honestly a lot of idols in their business really lack of this common sense due to lack of education. She was already famous enough to become next big name in America. Idk what made her think it was great idea to be part of crazy horse performance. probably money...or special recommendation of someone otherwise i don't see any valid reason. Stripping or not the moment people heard about that she will perform in a strip club...she lost her some of the followers from different conservative countries. And I agree with china .... Following their rules and banning her from china. Im also a part of a country which is religiously conservative. And I won't be surprised if my country also bans her in future....its just different cultures different rules....and people can't really do anything about it. She is a Human being yes absolutely.... And that's also why she should have been more careful about her decisions. You can't stop other people critising her cuz everyone has different beliefs...and since its in social media its normal people will talk nonetheless. however I hope she will be mature enough in future not to get indulged in such controversy.
She’s too famous to worry about you, your country, or even china’s criticism. Business common sense says she’ll be perfectly fine mentally and monetarily despite this criticism. Your conservatism probably stunts your education worse than an uneducated idol. Guarantee most upset conservatives are still fans and following her
People are stupid enough to think she would randomly go wear lingerie and dance. Even though it's not you or me who trained like slaves in YG dungeon. Maybe it's because people don't think past their last two braincells. Newsflash, 3 members of BP won't be renewing contracts, confirmed by YG. Not much of a news, if one thinks they ALL plan EVERY moment of their careers TOGETHER. They're not some dumb teenagers taking ass selfies for christ's sake. Calling her lacking common sense, makes you that much naive. These girls steered their careers steady, at an age most girls are still grasping menstrual cramps and healthy diets. These grownass women are sick of pretending like virgin girls and not embracing being who they are, because their agency forbids them, to appeal the stupid kpop fandoms. Same thing with Jennie starring in that pathetic scene of Weekknd's work. These girls are doing what Selena gomez, Miley Cyrus and so many more did, in order to FORCIBLY break their companies off their backs and be free to do what they want. Be grown women. Doing sexual projects, Miley went an extra mile sure, but it wasn't random, unless the holy rules of the said company is broken too far for the company to put you back into contract, you can no longer be forced into pastel-pink childish innocent girly group positions, not after taking upon sexual projects, they do so on purpose. Otherwise they simply have to be puppeteered by their company's desires, If they cross their fingers, put a tooth under pillow and pray tight, maybe just maybe, their company will allow them a new solo and not waste their times! THAT is what these women are tired of. They are smart. These bigshot companies can give them the career boost they need, so they take on the contracts, but once they made a name for themselves, they free themselves out of the sicko companies, to do what they want while still making lots of money by being famous. People are just too narrow minded to accept, grown women being sexual is nature. Nothing to be ashamed of. To even start to think, you'd know any better, than the woman who lost her entire teenage years dieting and training in pain you won't ever know of, Makes you the ignorant one. Not the crazy horse lady with a hell of a business plan ahead. As well as her bandmates.
Honey she still can make it in America cause people love her here. She’ll fit right in because we’re not that conservative. A lot of artist will definitely work with her so she’s not gonna be at a loss🤷🏽♀️
@@Lalunashi when did I said she changed her gender but it sounded so pick me... What wrong with calling yourself girly girly she is girly type you can see this in crazy horse performances but still called herself tomboy💀
You are absolutely wrong. Being another living being on this earth deserves BASIC respect. You most definitely have to earn high levels of respect, but without even knowing a person you should have some basic respect for them. It’s called being humane. Try it😀
A grownass woman embracing her sexuality is not disrespect, it's nature. It's the rest of the sicko world that would rather think a grown woman doing aegyo is what's right. Playing some role for the immature kpop fandoms who don't want to see their idol date is what's right. Respect is knowing what you want and not letting people put you as a grown adult, on a leash.
Lisa needs to be signed to a Western record label and management. Fans are such hypocrites. Many Western artists do similar (or more risqué) things in their music videos and live performances without facing any backlash and East Asian markets still support them and feature their content. These are the most delusional claims I've ever heard.
@@KpopBLversee That is very true. Asian and East Asian cultues were never known for respecting their woman, they're known for their patriarchy and extreme underdevelopment when it comes to gender equality. We must not condone this. There is no reason why Asian woman should have less right to their bodies than Western woman, gender equality means gender equality. Lets not support gender bias. (also, europe is part of the western world)
I don’t hate Lisa for choosing to do Crazy House however in no way do I support it. I hate the fact how girls are buying into the idea / the marketing that striping down to their bday suit for a show is woman empowerment and liberation. Just look at what OF is now, who is really suffering from the consequences and who is really benefiting. In today’s modern society, nothing will be forever private. Rich people can paid to see girls’ nudes/tapes under the disguise of supporting women, then screen record to put on random sites for the rest of the world to see. It’s not empowerment, it’s just an evil marketing scheme. It’s Lisa’s choice but she needs to understand the power she has and potential consequences. Young people will follow her footsteps believing it’s only for self-expression and liberation, when there’s so much bad hiding behind it. People and maybe Lisa needs to understand, these young people more specifically young girls aren’t going to be as lucky as her. They’re not going to be so well treated or so well protected because they’re only going to be regular people with no strong following or big corporations to back them up.
Everyone expects her to be this sweet, innocent woman who makes no mistakes. Lisa is not a minor anymore. She is an adult and she enjoys dancing. It’s her biggest passion. I’ve been a huge fan of hers since her debut and she’s my inspiration to try and dance. Lisa deserves nothing but respect as a grown woman.
I agree that Lisa is a grown woman and is free to do whatever she wants to do; more power to her. But, Respect is earned. If you want to be respected you should behave in a certain way. If you don't want to conform to those rules and neither care about what people say, that's cool. You do you. Lisa certainly doesn't care about what people say and I admire her for that. But you can't expect people to respect her in light of her recent activities.
I think its important that she did this. Dance and burlesque are art forms, whether people like it or not. Nudity has always been a part of all art and the human body should not be a target of taboo, but rather celebrated and admired for its beauty. By doing this, Lisa exposed the conservatism and bigotry that lies concealed within the massive kpop fandom that often consider themselfes "open minded people" yet preach shame. I strongly admire her bravery for doing so. As a mainstream artist, taking part in non-mainstream forms of art must not haven been easy for her, and it clearly broke the stereotype of the kpop "shy girl" that so many (so called) "fans" cannot live without apparently. I didnt thought much of it when i knew she was doing a show at crazy horse, but i admire her as an artist a lot more now that it has become clear what she started.
You’re criticising how they reacted when Korea is a more conservative country than America of course the backlash would be crazy she’s one of the most popular idols there.
She did something that made her happy, which is what life is about. Most importantly she didn’t hurt anyone, so people really need to pull their heads out of their own butts and start worrying about things that are actually important.

There have been many guests stars already (great singers and dancers), they wear special clothes and performs specials numeros (part of the show) : dancing or singing. As I already said, I am not a fan of K pop, but people tend to judge without knowing. They are mad because a singer is getting free and is creative. Outside of K pop, in the normal world, being free and creative is the mark of the real great artists. Not artists that are prisoners of an image or contracts. In all honesty, I doubt she cares about the backlash. She's doing what she wants. She's an adult. You guys are "shocked" because you have formed such an image of her and now that image has changed, and you guys can't accept that she's grown up. She's no longer a kid. It is a performance for a reason and I can guarantee you guys that whether or not she continues, she will live a far better life than any of us will considering her wealth and success. Away from K-Pop? Boo hoo, she will find success elsewhere. K-Pop isn't the only thing in existence that can give her success. I can guarantee you that the majority of the people in conservative countries like China, will still find a way to enjoy her performances, in private lol.
She's gonna marry the richest man's son, so I guess she doesn't care about the consequences, she even striped and threw her clothes to that LV's son during crazy horse performance.
It's hard not to criticize her. It's not like dancing provocatively is so entirely removed from KPOP in general, considering all the sexy concepts and choreographies, however this was different. She’s confident and comfortable with her body. She’s not doing an only fan account. It is a cabaret dance, a performance done by many famous dance companies, like The Rockettes in New York! This is a performance enjoyed by the whole family (especially during the Holiday Season in the US), though people in the East might find it racy. @@hritvisharma5523 There’s been KPop idols who have become P0rn actresses and no Korean society did not fall apart because of this. Next, Koreans don’t have values against sexualization they have values against women owning their own sexuality. This is why phones sold in their country are forced to have a shutter sound when they take pictures, because so many men were taking secret, hidden pictures of women. The country where they uncovered mass amounts of hidden bathroom content of women’s private parts. Their entire idol industry is filled with perverted sick content of underage girls dancing in short outfits and sexualized dance moves. So tell me where your priorities or the priorities of Koreans or any East Asians lie when they tell us that we are supposed to care more about a grown adult women dancing a sensual dance style over underage girls being forced to please their grown adult male audience in Kpop
The problem is, when a boy or a girl joins K-pop entertainment industry they get isolated from their parents from a very young age & because of less interaction with their family sometimes they don't understand what decision will be good and what will be wrong. So these kids don't understand how to behave outside. They behave and live according k-pop industry standards. All they get to do is perform no matter how small the outfit/uncomfortable it is, show a smile and dance. That's all they know. Then they will drag you into this mud by saying its all ok and normal. No harm no foul. But It hurts the image of a person who is cultural & sophisticated.

The only thing i see clear here its that money conquers all, they must pay her a big amount of money to do this, and she decided money over her values and her reputation 🤷🏻♀️
The fact that people are blaming her for people in China being caught up in this baffles me. That’s their own fault. They decided to attend, record and post…knowing how strict their country is about these thing, particularly anything that has to do with western influence. She didn’t ask them to do that, they did that on their own.
actually I rather agree with you... I don't even know why people are surprised, I mean girlie was practically naked wearing short shorts showing half her bum during their tour. The problem is that she's a kpop artist and she's representing Korea and this stunt she pulled is not in alignment with the Korean culture and people know this but they just want to argue. And she went ahead with this performance knowing this and did this just for the fun of it or whatever reason she has. And just to justify her they keep saying other American artist has done worse but honey I'm here to remind you that she's not an American artist is a kpop idol. The way I’m starting to like her more cuz she’s now for the grown ups not the little kids anymore. I hope she transitions into the western market so she can be praised and loved and not shunned for doing what she loves. Her collab with Meghan was so good she needs to do another one like that.
she is an adult, so she can do whatever she wants, therefore she can also deal with whatever her decision made by her. As long as she think she made the right choice. However fans didn't do anything wrong, so why fight the fights for her😮she knows what she's doing, right?
I respect her IDK why you guys are hateing her some people are saying she is doing this for money lol she earn enough and you all😂😂 She has minor fan thise minor fan ,I myself can't she her the private performing those minor will???those show were private for adults get it a minor can't see them you all are only spreading this thing for to each this infor for those minor K-nitzen aren't happy, well they hated her since beginning because she from Thailand and never ever support in her solo so why does it matter. She is a kpop idol ,she left yg. Hater will hate, but remember she has 99.1 M ppl love her so you it doesn't matter you like or Respect her or not 😂😂😂
You don't deserve to be treated with respect, your actions are what deserves respect. She, an adult does have the right to do whatever she wants but so do other people have the right to say what they want to say. I used to respect her, especially the fact that she followed her dream by going to a foreign country and doing so but if you do have responsibilities in your actions to represent your family, your group and whatever entities you represent.
She doesnt show us respect why would we? Im srry but this is shameless im not saying this with hate it is just shameless as a kpop idol bc the kpop industry has rules too
she doesn't show respect cuz she did shit you don't like? why should she be shameful of her body and for doing something she loves? Yea shes a kpop idol but that doesn't change the fact that shes a grown woman, most of those kpop rules are toxic af
Remember this, respect come from both sides, the fans all fight for her because of the image she built in their eyes after all these years. Now she just going to not caring about her fanbase's feeling and doing this, can this be her respect for her fan? Calls the art my ass! That's one hell of sicko hobbies of those riches!
Ya’ll do just this one favor you know what it is: its growing up and not telling idols or any people what to do and if lisa wants to strip then she will if she doesn’t then no, we don’t have to interfere in her life decisions or any idols life decisions we are just fans and have no right to say what she should do and not to do and we stay fans cuz thats our place in the kpop industry and its almost bin a month grow up.( No hate to anyone here )
I can kinda understand it She is a kpop idol she has an image she needs to maintain Her fans are used to seeing her cute sides But it's not like boycotting her will even work It never worked before and never will So i wish she can find something she truly enjoys
People said the same thing when 2ne1 had disbanded and Blackpink debuted later. U should've read the comments which now don't exist How these girls are merely boneheaded, skeletal untalented plastic messes and what not. What do u know, time went on, people are praising how talented at singing one is, how charismatic another is, how amazing one is at dancing, etc. Thing is, boycotting isn't anything new, it will work if you have the guts to carry it and power to back it up. These girls didn't enter the industry, asking for what roles they wanted, Instead they threw their teenage years away, dieting, training, doing whatever was asked, to make a big name for themselves. Now here we are. YG official announcement how 3 members of BP will NOT renew contracts, finalized and all. How they have other "agreements" made instead, that they will continue forward as a group, regardless of whichever other management they are under in future. I bet in past, no kpop idol could have freedom regarding "agreements". Now these 3 out of 4 members, can work for whichever, western or asian label they want, they will meet once inawhile, discuss the future plans of group activities, etc. But say, one of them want a certain kinda solo activity, the other company can't really say no as they're not the ones they've signed under. Such a brave new world huh? It's no longer whether boycotting will work or not, they HAVE worked it out. We live in the future.
Its not about being used to something. She is indeed an Adult Human but that doesnt mean she can do everything she wants. Fans want people to respect her? Then she has to EARN lt like everyone else. So many blinks are also underage and young little buddies who want to be like her and she is now just a terrible role model to all these kids. She has to think before she does something and I dont even know if she knew what will happen but still did it anyways which ended up with her being banned in China and a lot of backlash. Its her own fault for not thinking everything through. You also have to remember the fans who have religios beliefs who of course unstanned her which is also their full right. Tbh I dont even know how she even thought that stripping there was a good idea.
@@THEpreminger I agree what was the point? She already had everything why in the hell did she strip? And her 8 yrs old fans defending her actions She should understand how young her fanbase is Even in their concerts so many audience members were kids but they decided to wear something that didn't even cover their butt
LOL you guys are gross. I don't see where you got that it wasn't inappropriate sexual in most of their videos anyway I've watched them and they are half dressed, dancing like crazy, the lyrics can be real suggestive. I think you all just need to watch with your children do not blame it on
She seems more energetic and more happier in the horse perfomance than in her kpop perfomances. Yeah respect where shes not even happy with being a kpop celeb, where she got her name out in the world. I think being famous put her ego rising to the top, and now she thinks no matter what i got fans and im famous so i can do anything i wish, and ill still be loved.
Y'all saying her choosing to present herself in this way is a sign of "disrespect" are just flat out misogynistic. A woman embracing her sexuality and body how she chooses to is not "disrespectful" to ANYBODY, and you acting like it is is disgusting. Women have been shamed for AGES for this shit, and I'm used to seeing men doing it, but the amount of women regurgitating this bs is insane. I fully believe doing this show made her feel beautiful and confident, and how could you hate that? How could you let your closed-minded selves shame a woman for dancing and dressing a certain way? Lisa does not lack respect for herself or her fans, and she does not lack shame. This is simply nothing to be ashamed of. This is not disrespectful. It's 2023, almost 2024. Grow up and realize women are allowed to express themselves however they want. Sexuality is important to talk about and express. I applaud Lisa for her performance and I sincerely hope it made her feel amazing. Stop worrying about what someone else chooses to do with themselves and their carrier and instead divert that energy into becoming a more tolerant, kind person.
People can hate or love her. I dun think it matters to Lisa. She is simply living her life. Who are we to judge? Being an artist or an idol doesn't make her less human. Why can't people be happy seeing others being happy huh?
@seabreeze667 Lisa is not committing a crime by doing the dance? It's your child's free will. If you can't agree with it. At the least respect it. Lisa did not ask your child to follow her footsteps either.
@@yennetoh9715 ya! Lisa is an idol and she doesn't think she has any influence on her younger fans, but she has the influence to promote crazy whor*s show to the Asian market 🤔 is this called double-standard??
YG renewal contracted for Lisa and other members. Lisa does not ambassador for Laurxey brand, too, make beautiful. Lisa designed her own brand. Lisa should cancel all of them
East asian cultures were never known for their good sense when it comes to gender equality or body acceptance. But i think whats more interesting here is the ammount of english comments you see speaking out against her. This are most likely western fans of kpop that (to good extent) identify with the underlying bigotry of east asian cultures. This is a very interesting phenomenon because suddently you start realizing how kpop took the west by storm. It founded a narrow minded fandom that exists across cultures and identifies with the east asian biased traditional values. Im glad Lisa broke the illusion of the "fragile" "shy girl" to show kpop idols can also have a powerful and dominant presence when doing art. Art has always had nudity, deal with it. I now respect her as an artist.
Are you freaking crazy, would u respect a stripper? She’s a stripper for sure what if someone does this from ur family only will You still say it’s not a shameless act? Yes I am a blink and Lisa was my bias and now I’m not a blink or not fan of k-pop anymore
There is nothing to call out here, she did not murder anyone, she did not discriminate or hate against anyone, she is simply expressing herself and if anyone has a problem with that maybe the problem is within you.
Who cares about the china market. Filipinos still support lisa and the only market that matters is the philippines. We are the no.1 social climbers of the world and will wear luxury brands when we go abroad to show the world we are not all maids and factory workers😁
The main issue is exposing this to minors, she can do what she wants regardless of her culture. It’s her life. I blame the parents, while crazy horse allows 10 years and older they’re a warnings of nudity which the parents fail to consider. At the same, I also believe that it’s also the producers, Lisa and all those working behind the scenes fault as well. They knew Lisa had a young audience and since they are allowing children, they should have really considered whether or not Lisa should have stripped down.
well first of all its more like art, and secondly not every one is opposed to nudity. I mean like we weren't born with clothes, clothes are made for our bodies not the other way around 🤷♀️
I support her even if she do does stuff all that matters is that she is happy and if that makes her happy am happy for her too and shes in adult she can't make her decisions shes not a kid for all you haters to control.
I don't agree with her actions, but she doesn't deserve all this hate. She didn't hurt anyone. But she is a fullgrown adult and she could have anticipated that there would be tons of backlash. So if she knows this and chooses to do it or not, that's her choice. But I can't say that this is not her fault, cause she is also a rolemodel for lots of childeren and she know this. But please stop this hate, cause in the end she is still a human being.
i lost my respect to her tbh ,glad that i didn't bought tickets to her concert i was seriously thinking it. kinda sad she was my idol since teenage years and now she just disappointed me.
How in the hell she disappointed you? OH, I'm sorry...have you went anywhere in the years that you've been looking up to her? I guess that you haven't! That's why you're low balling. GET UP AND BE YOUR OWN DREAMS. STOP LOOKING AT IDOLS FOR INSPIRATION! LET YOU BE THE INSPIRATION THAT YOU NEED!
I suggest you stop following her, she is not a good person. I say this to help you i really have no bad intentions, i hope you have a successful and happy life!
Lisa is famous she deserve a lot not only in kpop industry.we know a lot of kids idol her and korea keep to maintain the situation about a none being on sexy outfits but lisa is an adult she entertain all not only kids because kids become adults too.we must understand that im not a fan but im sayin the truth..
Why would she treat her fans with respect? You know your fan population and this is just unacceptable. On the other hand, yes. She has the rights to do whatever she wants, and bear the consequences that comes along
As we all know we love her because of her dancing skill and she showed her dance skills at crazy horse so we should support her as she is not dancing nude she wore the cloths same as she had already wear at her concerts
YG management should take the blame as well. Lisa still under blackpink, which mean still under YG management. They as korean company probably know she gonna perform in that club and didn't stop her. Maybe there is story behind this, but at the moment, she just dance as she is a entertainer. Nothing wrong about it.
well at the time of crazy horse performance lisa contract with YG was already ended so i don't YG could be involve with it. This decision should be her own choice of working with CRAZY HORSE. you can see their other performance and see how they are objectifying the women (specially backup dancer) how backup dancer are literally topless with naked body and LISA working with them(crazy horse) means liking them and promoting these activities. those crazy horse performance often involve the cosplay of female office worker and female knights likes respects post which they freely objectify. so my main problem is with crazy horse but a idol with i used to admire promoted such a show make me loose my admiration toward her. and her fan in order to defend their idol often defend CRAZY HORSE too which may be their reason for hiring a kpop idol like her in first place. so in my opinion lisa being a 26 year old ADULT should decision like this carefully. Hope you understand ! thank you
she's already rich enough. what if she wanted out of the industry but the higher ups wouldnt let her....maybe she needed smt controversial that would allow her to leave once and for all. also she might just want to re-brand the only one who knows is her
As far as i know, it was on private party and not meant to be on public so this negate every criticism. Nobody was suposed to see it!... Even if...I doubt she mean anything sexual. Burlesque is just another form of dance art.
People who are trying to defend her by saying “It’s not stripping, it’s cabaret, it’s an art form. Y’all just don’t know” are stupid cause the ones who say this are the actual ones that don’t know what cabaret is. Cabaret doesn’t always involve stripping. Some cabaret shows may be appropriate for teens and families. Not all of them are considered “adult entertainment”. What Lisa did was cabaret AND stripping. Tho I’m not fully against her doing neither. Just and fyi for all the people that are trying to defend her like that lol
Noticed the great majority of Blinks who disagree hate Lisa for doing this are Muslims, they are the loudest voice right now cuz the west is either silent or supporting Lisa as expected lol,, problem is Blinks in general are predominantly from SEAsia esp hardcore fans are from there… Idk but i still think Lisa is going to be fine tho im not sure how she still decided to renew contract with the group…
She actually deserves it i cant support anyone who actually acts like an ungrateful brat even when they know that people love them for being them not because of nudidity
I dont mind lisa performing in crazy horse shows , she has full right but its a stripping show , so indirectly she is promoting such platform for women which is used only to objectify women body in exchange of money , so on that note she should have been little considerate what kind of platform she is promoting by posting her performance constume and to what extent she should do so
Honestly it was coming....Lisa isn't a minor... being an adult doesn't only mean to follow your heart and do whatever you want to.
Agreed!
Otherwise they simply have to be puppeteered by their company's desires,
If they cross their fingers, put a tooth under pillow and pray tight, maybe just maybe, their company will allow them a new solo and not waste their times!
To even start to think, you'd know any better, than the woman who lost her entire teenage years dieting and training in pain you won't ever know of,
Makes you the ignorant one.

Lisa needs to be signed to a Western record label and management. Fans are such hypocrites. Many Western artists do similar (or more risqué) things in their music videos and live performances without facing any backlash and East Asian markets still support them and feature their content. These are the most delusional claims I've ever heard.
Imagine when the so called "kpop fans" find out about brazilian funk, unanimously regarded as a form of art in all latin and hispanic cultures
But she is not a Western artist. She is a Kpop artist. An asian. And Asian culture is far different than the westerns and Europeans.
@@KpopBLversee That is very true. Asian and East Asian cultues were never known for respecting their woman, they're known for their patriarchy and extreme underdevelopment when it comes to gender equality. We must not condone this.

I think you can do what you want but you also have to give a warning and advice.
Everyone expects her to be this sweet, innocent woman who makes no mistakes. Lisa is not a minor anymore. She is an adult and she enjoys dancing. It’s her biggest passion. I’ve been a huge fan of hers since her debut and she’s my inspiration to try and dance. Lisa deserves nothing but respect as a grown woman.
yeah she enjoys dancing in front of those men's with lustful eyes.. and sure she wants them to think of her naked body
Nothing but respect? After performing in a strip club?
What she did earlier was not dancing........she could have danced with some clothes on
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO SAYS IT
I think its important that she did this.

Asking the masses to understand art is futile. She's a mainstream artist, the masses are her target audience, therefore, some backlash is predictable.
Well what is it exactly?
@@neonlights7607 it is a cabaret, not a filthy strip club. It is Art in Europe.

The setting, the minimal clothing, the kind of dance/moves, it was all inherently seductive and sexual, and made it all the more controversial. Cabaret itself is known to be comparable tostripping, although it's more elevated, refined, and artistic. The real problem is that she is still a KPOP idol and started off that way, her entire career is based in K-POP, and yet she did something so scandalous. Just because Blackpink has received so much international attention, does not mean that she can behave like an American celebrity. Asian media will still, rightfully, speak out over her actions especially over heractions, especially over her choice to perform here. Perhaps if she were an American celebrity, the backlash would be minimal, but the fact of the matter is, she's a K-POP idol, and South Korea has always been a conservative place. If you can't respect their ideals, no matter how much you disagree with them, then you shouldn't say anything at all. If you have no true knowledge of Korea's
cociety values and culture andanything at all. If you have no true knowledge of Korea's society, values, and culture, and you're viewing this from an Americanized perspective, all while defending her, you have no right to defend her and criticize the people who are calling her out on her poor decision. She's an adult, she knew the consequences, and no one else should be responsible for thatanything at all. WTF IT’S A DANCE STYLE. HAVE Y’ALL SERIOUSLY NEVER HEARD OF CABARET PERFORMANCE??? It’s insane how a woman in her mid 20’s who’s known for being one of the best dancers in her field can even get backlash for this
It's hard not to criticize her. It's not like dancing provocatively is so entirely removed from KPOP in general, considering all the sexy concepts and choreographies, however this was different. The setting, the minimal clothing, the kind of dance/moves, it was all inherently seductive and sexual, and made it all the more controversial. Asian media will still, rightfully, speak out over her actions especially over heractions, especially over her choice to perform here. Perhaps if she were an American celebrity, the backlash would be minimal, but the fact of the matter is, she's a K-POP idol, and South Korea has always been a conservative place.

Dancing is good, she loves it, enjoys it but the problem is when you don't understand the situation/circumstances. She is an amazing idol. People love her simplicity, dance and love for her culture. But western society have very different mindset. They don't care about your culture. All they care about is enjoyment without consequences & they will make you think like that. Then they will drag you into this mud by saying its all ok and normal. No harm no foul. But It hurts the image of a person who is cultural & sophisticated.

You don't respect it! I'm sorry. You're just lying to yourself. How long do you people intend to hold this young woman by the way is going into her 30's to a young girl's image? I guess that you're a young girl yourself...huh?!
Nice comment for once :), but also you have to Learn what is crazy horse.
It is a cabaret and it is seen as art’in Europe, not a filthy strip club.
There is no photo of how she performed and in general, guests have specific costumes and specific part of the show.
Most of the people here don’t understand and judge without knowing.
I am totally not interested in the k pop culture but the level of entitlement of some people who want to control what a woman is doing is astonishing.
In reality, Lisa is getting free of some limitations of the k pop industry and people are getting mad.
Being free is the mark of great artists outside k pop, and this is maybe what she will become.

The Kpop industry sexualize and exploit minors
minors are so sexualised in east asia its insane grow tf up lisa is in her mid 20s
The only thing i see clear here its that money conquers all, they must pay her a big amount of money to do this, and she decided money over her values and her reputation 🤷🏻♀️
She isn't paid nearly enough that this would be financially feasable. She's doing this because she wants to and she has every right to do it.
I call it the Frankenstein syndrome.... you created these "creatures", most of the haters are consumers of young girls hypersexualized from a very young age in this industry , 14-16 years old or less... lazy dances, inappropriate clothes for their age and so on, but as soon as this "creature" escapes you, you must eliminate it at all costs... hypocrisy when you hold us
Exactly
This is messed up.. Lisa is an adult and she is allowed to do what she wants. It's her life, not the haters, not the fans, not the companies. She killed that performance and y'all know that. Atm those aren't "fans" if you're gonna hate on her for being an adult
I think this was a calculated move by lisa. It's a chance for her to get away from the whole kpop life. After a while it's a lot. She has enough money to live comfortably now.
Especially after marry a billionaire.
Actually she doesn’t need to do anything anymore.
Don't understand why y'all people hating, when almost everyone here on social media is no different...attending clubs and having sex. Lisa is just exploring new path and maturing, it's the same thing as all girls in this world losing their "V card" before marriage. 💯
“She's a grown ass woman”
“she's mature enough to do whatever she wants”
“she's an adult”
“It's her body she can do whatever she wants with it”
Yeah know shit Sherlock we can see it's her body, we can see that she's a grown mature woman and that she can do whatever she wants, and the funny thing is that most people on the internet here defending her don't support what she did but because they don't want to feel like bad fans they stay behind their phones and say anything that comes to mind. It doesn't make her less human or shameless. She was obviously given an invitation and she accepted it because she prolly like these kinds of things. When she accepted the invitation she probably didn't think of the consequences or she thought of it and didn't care.

I don't hate her or anything and this doesn't make her less worthy of anything but she is a public person and an influence to a lot of young people including girls that might think this is a good idea, follow her example and unfortunely suffer the consequences I know she is grown woman but kpop is very different than other music industrys, it has more rules and make the idols way closer to tge fans with vlogs, fansings etc and she sould've thought more before accepting this envite. I woudnt be happy if i saw one of my kids seeing that they follow someone that did this type of show, I know that a lot of american artists show their skin and sing about s*x*al stuff but is not bc somebody did something bad that you can do it to, she is super talente an I'm sure she is really nice but I don't agree with this decision
Edit: I just wanted to say that I would also critizise this decision if it was a male kpop idol, it not bc she is a woman, sexy concepts are ok with me as long as the idol feels comfortable with doing it but this was a little too much for me
I respect your opinion and all but in my opinion, If kids are being influenced by her actions, i think that is the parents responsibility to protect the child and teach the what is right or what is wrong and what to stay away from. How these girls are merely boneheaded, skeletal untalented plastic messes and what not.
What do u know, time went on, people are praising how talented at singing one is, how charismatic another is, how amazing one is at dancing, etc.
Thing is, boycotting isn't anything new, it will work if you have the guts to carry it and power to back it up.
These girls didn't enter the industry, asking for what roles they wanted,
Instead they threw their teenage years away, dieting, training, doing whatever was asked, to make a big name for themselves.

I LOVE LISA FOREVER AND NOTHING WILL STOP ME
Simp
I support her even if she do does stuff all that matters is that she is happy and if that makes her happy am happy for her too and shes in adult she can't make her decisions shes not a kid for all you haters to control.
I don't care about K-pop but everybody is just jealous because she is the prettiest woman in K-pop.
She has the rights to do whatever she wants, and bear the consequences that comes along
she should do what she love, fame and age change people, she no longer her younger self. She potentially lose her older fans and gaining new one.
Yg artists are always problematic
I love Lisa 💕
Hope you understand !
thank you
she's already rich enough. what if she wanted out of the industry but the higher ups wouldnt let her....maybe she needed smt controversial that would allow her to leave once and for all. also she might just want to re-brand the only one who knows is her
AND IF SHE NEEDS RESPECT SHE NEED TO DO SOMETHING WHICH IS RESPECTABLE.
These people need to shut up Iisa doing what she wants to do Lisa is an adult love you Lisa❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
More power to her. She’s free to do what she wants.
I don't know what's right or wrong.. But isn't she looking beautiful 😊
Noticed the great majority of Blinks who disagree hate Lisa for doing this are Muslims, they are the loudest voice right now cuz the west is either silent or supporting Lisa as expected lol,, problem is Blinks in general are predominantly from SEAsia esp hardcore fans are from there…
Idk but i still think Lisa is going to be fine tho im not sure how she still decided to renew contract with the group…
She actually deserves it i cant support anyone who actually acts like an ungrateful brat even when they know that people love them for being them not because of nudidity
How is she an ungrateful brat? If you dont want to support her the get lost.
Damn they ruthless, we need some of that in America… shit is getting out of hand.
