That thing is CRAZY fast! What a hoot to ride!
They did some software tuning on it…if anything, it is a bit FASTER now than when you rode it!
I literally laughed out loud when you screeched the tires! That thing looks awesome for filming and I didn't even know they existed. Would love to see it in action. Thanks for sharing!
Come on down…you can take it for a ride while admiring my most beautiful pond.
I only know of one pond more beautiful. Wait. Never mind. You can take a ride while making fun of my pond! :-)
I have to say I am impressed with Christie's filming from that vehicle. You do an awesome job.
Thanks for the kind words!
And here I thought Christy was doing some fancy low altitude drone shots. Very cool! 👍😄
Ha! Well, sometimes she does use the drone for some amazing shots…but this thing really ups the game!
It has been fun to see the way Christy and you can use the vehicle to get some really cool video. The way that you can capture moving action and close up details of equipment operations is really impressive. Blessings.
Tim’s last words……. Hey Christy, Watch this!!!!! This small vehicle is just another piece of your production tools that improves your videos. Your video quality has improved with experience. Keep these videos coming. Congrads on hitting 230,000 subs.
Neat electric ATV! A great way to capture video for sure without creating additional background noise.
I really like that unit. Jenni is with Christy on coming out of the ditch. Fun vehicle.
Ever since you mentioned you got this machine. I have definitely noticed an improvement in the videos. I am glad you finally got to review it.
Your videos are at the peak of RUclips quality.
A lot of the video you showed that was shot with this I thought had to drone with an incredibly daring operator. Now I’m less impressed with Christie’s drone skill and more impressed with the atv skills.
that looks perfect for the work you guys are using it for. between that and the drone shots the variety is great.
Your videos have evolved over time and I feel that you’re doing a wonderful job. Thanks.
This eATV has improved the quality of your videos significantly. HANDS DOWN you two have the best quality tractor and implement videos on RUclips. If you watch other tractor channels, none of them have great content because they are limited to waking behind the action (jumpy camera), filming from the cab (jumpy camera) or using a tripod (limited field of view). Keep up the great work. You have absolutely earned your top spot on my watchlist.
Wow, thank you!
That's a great addition for the video crew (Christy)she does an excellent job all the time keep up the great work🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for the kind words!
When i first saw it/drove it…it was a hoot, but I wondered how it would work for the channel, but since that same day…it has been clear how handy/useful it is. Crazy looking, mind bindingly quick, and surprisingly useful.
The new model possibilities look very intriguing!
What a great tool and toy at the same time. Wow it’s fast. Thanks for all the hard work you both put into these videos.
They have improved. I think you’re right. For your set up it seems like perfect fit. I saw a glimpse didn’t know what it was. Gator and drones are noisy. Seems like it’s more versatile than a golf cart.
Great for your video work! We recently bought an electric golf cart and have fell in love with the 'electric' part of it. No noise, repeated on/off without idling, not scaring wildlife, etc.
That thing is awesome!
There's a whole world of use cases for small electric vehicles (that don't have to do too much work) that I think will be good for the market. Keep diesel power where its needed (tractors, towing, carrying heavy loads, etc.) and have these electric vehicles where they best fit in. Let the market find their niches - its always fun seeing what new ideas come out! Re your use case, it definitely adds another string to your bow - I thought at the start of the video, "what does this do that a drone doesn't?", so it was great to hear Christy explaining the audio link thing. 👍
It's about time you two!! All the sneak peeks and finally we're hearing about it. 🎉🎉😅
11k basically for that is insane!
Quality has definitely gone up. Seems like a cool tool for your purpose. I like this video. Its different seeing you guys together going over something new. You look cute together
Thanks 👍. We usually have fun together. Often we don't have opportunity to show it on camera.
If you don't mind me asking, how long have you two been married?
@@D2500Ralmost 32 years.
Milwaukee Packout FTW!! You can mount the bracket to a platform on the back and be able to have modular storage.
I’m glad to know that christy is not running around behind you filming I always wondered how she gets the shots
The eATV makes a great support vehicle during video production!
Yes, I do think the video content is better with the electric atv. Not that it was bad before, but the shots where the camera is right there with the piece of equipment does really give the video a professional touch.
Very cool good application for it.
Fast wow.
You guys do a great job. Thanks for your hard work, and we appreciate you doing what you do, knowing it's a lot of hard work!
Maybe a diamond plate aluminum tongue box would be perfect on the back of it.
You should build a platform for the large Milwaukie packout case instead of that trunk
I agree. Do they sell Packout platforms?
I also need one on the forklift, and you need to sell them for tractor mounts.
Yes they do I have one mounted in my pickup bed. That's an excellent idea. Plus everything is modular. And if you build side wall you can mount on sides too.
It's hard to improve on Christie's awesome video prowess but this certainly did not hurt it in any way! I do enjoy the improved angles and "action" footage it allows you to provide. Love the videos and all the non-biased advice. Thank You.
You're 100% correct. No other channel has the quality of shots Tim & Christie provide.
Thank you, Tim.
Love your videos and always watch them. I appreciate your honesty and how you demonstrate all the tractors and attachments! God bless!!
that is super awesome. you both do such a good job!!!!! Congrats on 230!
Tim and Christie, As the culprit behind the development of this vehicle, I am really impressed by your cool and authentic review of ENVO E-ATV. Now I think I want one too😅.
UPT prototype is being tested these days. We'll definitely want you to test and review a few customizations of UPT, which I believe will be ready by September.
Thanks!
The eATV has been wonderful for us. Very helpful for our videos. …but the UPT seems to be a great step forward, making the concept even more flexible and valuable!
So two things #1 cheeseburger ballast one of Tim’s best quotes I’m stealing that one #2 I could see so many uses for that atv it has made for some cool camera angles keep up the great videos I love coffee and tractor time with Tim Sundays
Thats a great machine and nice addition to your video graphic production. It looks smooth as if you're on a hover board. At first glance it looks like a glorified segway on 4 wheels. Maybe if you to church twice on Sunday's, the company might upgrade you to a newer version for fahree. 😊
As a forklift technician work with primarily electric trucks. Most motor controllers have the ability of being programmed as far as speeds and ramp time to max speed. The batter gauge issue sounds like it is set for flooded cell battery and not lithium ion. With the other issues it sounds more like a prototype than an actual production unit. Cool piece though!
I love everything about it. One of the few electric vehicles I think is doing what they are great at.
Christy mobile is amazing
thanks for showing this...where I live I cannot have a gas powered 4 wheeler...this looks like it would do for me.
We have enjoyed your video's for a long time. We have seen the quality get better and better. Tools like this is why your production is so fantastic. Keep up the great work!
Nice concept. There was one concept that looked like a front dump/wheel barrel.
Cool machine! Tim if you had the trailer hitch you could use it to help modify a support for a small bed to haul things. Like cheese burgers! 😁
Awesome video! Christy is the real MVP here.
I always assumed most of the moving shots were drone. That thing is pretty cool
I think this is an excellent vehicle for your needs.
Beautiful...Thanks for the video Tim...Really appreciate your channel...Keep up the great work...Long time subscriber...
Very cool!
Looks like that could be a handy machine for looking round your sheep or cattle in inby fields
Seems very cool 😊
Battery cost ? Extreme cold test ? Cost to charge? Etc,,,
Great video "Scooter time with Christy" 😀 great to behind the scene look
Tim. Glad it's working for you. Yes it seems to be a welcome edition to capturing your video and producing great content. The unit appears to be a direct drive hub motor. Perhaps the manufacturer would consider a slightly modified system that would include a gear reduction. Although this would be less efficient, one might be able to pick a desired ratio for your application.
I think the new one will have 4 motors…one on each hub.
@@TractorTimewithTim It will indeed!
You guys are cool. I appreciate your show; I've learned a lot.
I had seen glimpses of it. Looks useful especially since it makes life easier for the CFO.
Nice product Tim I would use this when I can go and brush hog my fields leave the tractor there pack a lunch instead of driving back and forth. The wheels make a big difference Steve from WV
Yea, and you could haul it on the brush hog!
Thank you for the video I’m seriously thinking about buying the ENVO. Your video was very helpful and informative.
All the videos are great and please don’t run over any kitty cats. Lol.
Stay safe and keep the video’s going.
Jesse from the Pocono’s in Pennsylvania.
Great video!
It’s pretty cool. The grinding when you were trying to go up the slope and the fact that it won’t go up the slope. I personally think it’s kind of a problem especially in that price range. It would be interesting to see if there’s a way you could gear it down, for your use, you could probably go way down in gearing. I’m surprised at the tow capacity rating but still you can’t get up the little slope in the front yard without that grinding. It’s almost as if something is broken in there. It would be interesting to see if it can actually tow at full capacity. I don’t know what’s wrong with the rear end, but almost sounds like the differential gears are loose in there. I wonder if they do have differential options or an easy way to gear it down 🤔 I would also consider lowering the seat so you can get a wider stance with your feet for stability, but it looks pretty fun.
You might also check to see if it’s got programmable settings a lot of times you can slow the acceleration and change the speed and efficiency modes in those computers, on the bikes anyway. I think it’s pretty cool I’d use one if I had it.
Around 10 years ago God inspired me with a very unique design for a 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer pedal powered kart. The design was unlike anything I’ve ever seen on the internet. I almost finished the frame April 2016 when I had a return of the Lyme disease I was treating in 2015. My Doctor suggested a version with electric assist. Another version of it could be made with a gas engine as a rock crawling ATV. I would love find some 1.5” by 1.5” aluminum tube to rebuild the frame for the prototype. I used NOMA lawn tractor 4 wheel steer rear steering hubs and wheels building it. If it wasn’t for my Lyme disease I might have had it to production by now.
Just like Hollywood without the perversion, thanks guys from SE Tn.
Thanks for the compliment! We try to avoid any perversion!
I like it
It does seem to work good for what you need. Maybe their next version will offer better gearing.
FUN video...
Christy has a cool ride
Yes christydo it
I think it's definitely added to the video quality. With all the standing Christy does, would it be useful to (have Dave) build a seat that she could lean back against? Maybe even some side bolsters on it to help keep her in place on rougher terrain.
Mount a rear flatbed and mount a tripod mount and gimbaled camera mount on digital camera and your videos will 10x
The gimalled camera mount is self leveling and regardless of conditions will look like a drone shot. The mount radio and battery chargers and you can film continuously.
Hey Guys, cool ride. I think from a practical use perspective the low end torque problem would exclude it from many uses. I can't see it being a rescue vehicle for hikers if it can't carry 240 lbs out of a small ditch or hauling logs out of the woods. It would need a creeper gear for those types of uses I think. Otherwise that's a great toy for around the house or in your case the filming. Cool, I'm glad you did the review.
Golf cart ?
I think electric powered vehicles have their place and as they get used out in the real world things will get better with them. I don't see electric replacing gasoline and diesel vehicles either though. Everything intended to be a tool has a place, and evolves with time to fit different needs better.
👍👍
Take some sharp turns at moderate speed so that we can see how stable it is when turning. Seems top heavy when a rider is hanging onto the handlebars. Is cruise control a feature?
No cruise control.
It is ‘stable enough’. Gives a thrill when turning. I’m sure it could throw me off.
Like anything, use some judgement and care when riding.
I thought all those shots you showed in the past were drone shots! LOL!
Does it come apart for easier loading & unloading from a van or SUV?
seat comes off (as shown), and handlebar can fold down. So total height only 2 ft or so. That is the only disassembly.
The next iteration is being designed to pack down very efficiently for loading and unloading.
@@EnvoEngineering Thanks for the reply... You should make it so the batteries can be taken off which will make the unit much lighter to aid in lifting into a van, pickup or SUV. That will also allow for hot swapping a battery pack.
does it have lithium batteries, and what does it take to charge it'
Yes, 120v normal house outlet. Not sure how long to charge.
I would say if they produce this in a 4x4 format it would be much better.... Maybe a differnt set of tires also... Good to see it the machine . I think with some tweaks they can make it A plus.
I have an electric golf cart with rear seat/work platform aftermarket option. Can carry 4 or cargo.
Looks like a stripped down golf cart for the same price. LOL!
My dad bought 2 e bikes used because they had too much torque. He contacted the manufacturer, and they actually sent him a download to resolve the problems. Now they're butter smooth throughout the throttle range. Maybe they have something like that, too?
It's tough to beat a regular 4wheeler, and almost nobody would get a 2wd 4wheeler. I'd like one of these when the price comes down and when there's a motor at every wheel, with smart software controlling them. You don't need a differential when software can do tge job better.
Chrisie's new ride. Just the ticket for handling the fast action she tries to follow. I think that some flame decals on the side would be appropriate.
Yea, I move so fast! She needed it to keep up :-). ….yea right! :-)
@@TractorTimewithTim 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🇨🇦👍
Is it just 110 volt charging?
Yes.
Given the price of that stripped down model, I’m not sure the fancier model could compete with some of the other electric UTVs like the Polaris.
Will be interesting to see.
Glad you like it. Too many small, irritating problems for me.
that can get you to that cheeseburger in record time when the dinner triangle chimes.
Christy I knew that was why it wouldn't go threw the dicth with Tim on it to many cheese burgers lol you go girl with that speed 😊
I see value in the concept. The cost is another thing. UTV are to heavy and big for a small farm. I am interested.
I thought that everything except from tripods was done from the drone. Good productions. The Gator can be used to get the mail. But I think if the finance committee really wanted one with a cab I think she’d find the money.
Since this doesn't have gears. I would think low is low power, not high torque like a tractor. High "gear" would give more power. Idk how they have it set up.
and here I thought Cristy was just a fast runner🤣🤣
1st gen looking interesting, but images of 2nd gen feels meh! Not interested in that at all. Glad you got one and I appreciate the angles and shots you get from it.
Interesting. The 2nd gen seems wonderful to me!
Now that India has landed rover on South Pole of Moon, we do have ‘metic on the moon’ 😊
For the price they’re asking, seems to be a lot of issues, unless you received a used demo unit. I can also see where there is a lot of potential for some serious injuries. In your case, I can see where it would be beneficial as a totally deductible business write off. When Christy came by in 3rd gear, I was concerned for her safety. I’ve been riding at and utv’s for 30 plus years, and I think I’ll stick with them.
It may have been demo, not sure. Definitely prototype quality.
I put a video up of my mower putting the mower deck on and top speed of it is 8 mph its not going to win any speed records other than slow speed it moves at idle slow enough you can get off and let it idle through gates with out getting back on.
4 wheel drive rascal... ;)
Wouldn’t an electric golf cart be more comfortable and be able to carry more equipment? And perhaps cheaper. Also 2 or more people.
Not as handy.
Great vehicle. Like being able to step on and off. 7k would be a reasonable price…. 10k is too much.
