    Prakhar,
Any suggestion for a 30yr old transitioning into software development?
I'm currently learning Full stack development.
How can I make up for lost time?
Should I factor my age before fully committing to it?
    Your honest opinions please.✌️

Brother, you are still very young. I have known people who have gotten into the field at 40, 45, even later. I think Fullstack development is amazing to get into, as there is so much work and only increasing. My suggestion would be to really master the frontend first with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React (the most used framework in the industry), then move to backend, as it is a little bit more tricky.
About the field itself, it is challenging, it takes a lot of energy to stay up to date with the current trends and technologies, but as long as your fundamentals are clear it is easy to pick up new tech. I would say to become a really proficient Developer and get a nice job you will need anywhere between 1 to 2 years depending on how much time you spend on learning and building projects.
And i you are serious about this I would really recommend learn by building your own projects. And then build a portfolio of 5 projects minimum that highlight what you have learned and is relevant to what's being used in the industry.
FYI, you don't need a degree either. I have worked with plenty people who never went to school for this. Hope this helps 😄

Hey brother, even though I have a degree in Software Engineering I have worked with multiple people in different companies that had no degree and had the same job with the same salary as me. They were either self taught or went to a bootcamp to learn. I would say it's not easy but definitely possible to make a career in Web Development without a degree.

Hey bro, I am not a student. I work fulltime as a Software Engineer. And even though I have a degree in Software Engineering I have worked with multiple people in different companies that had no degree and had the same job with the same salary as me.
