You are correct there is a spider foes affiliation pack coming. I believe they announced with the decision to retire the original core box and have an avengers affiliation box instead. I think the doctor voodoo and hood pack is a good addition gives you another avenger, who was nerfed but is still really good and another cabal member who is rather under rated especially if you get baron strucker

I don't think you mentioned that Agent Venom is also SHIELD affiliated. So, Buying the Agent Venom/Spider-Woman pack and the Luke Cage/Iron Fist pack not only gives you a solid Avengers roster it also gives you a solid SHIELD roster. Since the new core box contains 5 SHIELD affiliated characters. Especially if you grab Nick Fury too. (Even though Luke and Iron Fist aren't SHIELD affiliated they provide the much needed 3 threat splash for SHIELD.)
Been playing foes a lot recently and I’ve loved what lizard has done for me once he closes in to that sweet sweet range 3. I’ve had success playing him near Mysterio and/or a rhino
Id recommend buying Falcon Cap & War Machine I feel like it boost so many lists with viable splash characters or in affiliation. Secondly I’d probably go Scarlet Witch & Quick Silver. Next I’d go with some of Rich’s choices. I think there are boxes out there where you can just say that it I’m done but with the amount coming out in the next few years maybe just grab the heroes or villains you love in all media.
The OG core box is still completely valid, the new one just has updated tools and tokens (they just look cooler but work the same as the OG core box), and new versions of the OG core box characters. (The characters from the OG core box are their own versions)

I think, the Cabal affiliation box is the four models from the OG core box, so they are different from the new Core Box. I’d say 100% worth it, if just for Zemo alone.

Great videos Rich. Hulk has to be in there as a recommendation. He's an amazing splash character and adds some punch to your lists.
