I hate this idea of keep saying this and that Thai actor is "of Chinese descent". Do you call an Australian White actor 'of English descent" or an Argentinian footballer 'of Spanish descent'? . The best Oscars actress 2024 is Michelle Yeo, a MALAYSIAN. The Malays would doubt their fellow ethnic Chinese Malaysians if the Chinese community emphasized she is Chinese. The survival and achievements of ethnic Chinese in South East Asia - China has contributed nothing but on the contrary caused disasters to them in the last century. It is our adopted country like Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, etc. that had bestowed our ancestors a safe haven to build our new homes and allowed us to build our business and career freely. I hate China people keep accusing us of not supporting the China today and not admitting we are 'Chinese' (China people) and not being loyal to our 'motherland'. Our motherland fatherland is Thailand / Malaysia / Singapore / Philippines, etc. I don't mention Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos because China exported the communist venom to them and the Chinese lost their generation-built career and wealth overnight and suffered massacre, labour camps and deportation. Indian Chinese today are very poor and its Chinatown is in ruins because of China - invaded India in 1962 and Chinese became scapegoats. Happened in Indonesia 1965 too. When Chinese suffered persecution and bloody riots, China has never given a helping hands. Don't believe in lies fabricated by some who said China did.

There's Patrick, The Gifted: Graduation (I know, not BL, but still cute), who's Thai & German. Sammy is Thai & British. I thought Mike Siri would have been Thai & European, but he's Thai & Chinese. I really thought Nanon was full Thai.
Mixed race can hardly be applied to Nanon. Since when did having two asian parents make you comparable to a half white? Being visibly asian is different.

This is where this video is miss leading. Saying one is American is very broad and that literally can mean anything. American isn't a Race or an Ethnic background meaning you can be American and still be 100% Filipino or 100% Korean, etc. It's a Nationality meaning you either are American or you aren't. (Essentially it is where one holds citizenship.) There is no half or quarter American. People seem to automatically associate American to being white but that is far from the truth. The USA is a country built of immigrants. Only the Native Americans are indigenous to the USA. All the white people from over 400+ years ago were British Colonists. If you hear American and they are white, it means that their ancestors came from one of the 50+ ethnic groups that are Caucasian like German, Irish, Italian, etc. For example I'm 75% Filipino and 25% Chinese. I'm American but I'm not white at all. That's what I mean by broad. I was just born in the USA so I have American Citizenship, which is what the term actually means or it could also mean that you are from a Country in North America, Central America or South America.
May I ask what does the "American" part mean? Because unless you mean Native American, the discussion just opened up for a long look on the racial and ethnic backgrounds of what Americans are made of. For example, a white American could be from Scottish, Irish, Germanic, Baltic, Slavic etc., in terms of genetic mix it could be still be Thai-German, Thai-Irish etc. So just saying "American" only highlights their nationality, not the genetic makeup they are actually mixed with.
It's referenced more towards the nationality part, as 'White' North/South Americans and Australians/NZdrs have European ancestry. Drake's ancestry is German and Scottish. About Bright, he has never mentioned his ancestry.

@@TheresaTV1 "American" isn't definitive/specific at all
I think ethnic group would be more accurate. But then again, ppl from South East Asia refer to diff ethnic groups as 'racial group', or race for short. No harm in that.
@@jikookietings2507 Urgh, here in Asia, when we say American, we would think of either White or perhaps Black. Don't blame us for it and don't call this racist pls. Blame your Hollywood pop culture for that.
1:49 Perth was in cutie pie (2022) as well
Who are they?and are they really mixed can’t believe so handsome they are but I don’t know them 🙂
They are bl actors
BL/Boys Love Actors!
Ohh ok

Jeff Is mixed too like a few nationalities. I saw an interview of his but forgot the nationalities 😬
Now there's also Alan from Hit Bite Love, he's Thai-Italian!
American isn’t a race, though… I’m confused.
i think they mean from USA
@@sarahsouza288 But that isn’t a race…
@@jikookietings2507 yeah American is a nationality. I think they meant White. Lol
@@Tom_Atoe Eh? What does White have to do with America? America has every race of people lmao
@@jikookietings2507 Drake's dad is a White American. That's where I made the connection. I also live in America btw.
I honestly didn't noticed earlier but now that I know Fergiee looks so obvious 😁
I find him really attractive.. hehe
@@blcritic same especially after the dance from Gen y 😁
They are all quite handsome as well.
Zee Pruk Panich ? It would be interesting to know, he may be half Serb (Panić)

AFAIK, he is Thai- Irish, but was not able to get the info anywhere. Please if somebody has correct info!

I have been curious about mew. Does anyone know about his origin?
Chinese and Thai
@@alinedavis1127 but he looks more of a foreigner.
@@millyapril9203 I agree but that's what came from his own mouth in an interview 🤷🏽♀️😄
@@alinedavis1127 wow! Unbelievable!
I am so confused because you named nationalities and not actual races. Shouldn't this be called "Thai actors with dual or multi nationalities"?
No because that's not what this video is. Multi nationalities would just mean they lived in different countries. Nationality is just about where you live. This is about ethnicity so race is technically a correct term to use, however the could have also used the term mixed ethnicity
I agree, American is not a race, neither is Australian, they may have parents from these countries but that is not their race.
Just like to add to my previous comment that I meant that using the term race is a more fitting term than using nationality, but mixed ethnicity is the correct term overall
How's Vietnamese-thai a mixed race?
my question exactly
Gunsmile Metawin and White are Chinese-Thai
Jeff Satur?
prem from between us is half Indian
Wow.. never knew.. thanks for letting me know.
What about zee?
What is he mix ?

Okay but where can I watch kinnPorsche
They are starting the script reading from June 22. It will be August/Sept to the earliest for it to release.
MetaWin is also Thi-Chinese
Where is your source of Meen Nichakoon and Nanon? cause Im pretty sure they are Thai or Thai-Chinese. And Utt said himself that he is Thai-Chinese with no White race mix even tho it look like he could be one
The Thai-Russian guy are very interesting. Meen Nichakoon. 💜
I’m sorry but why does Jason look like siwon chon from super junior
Wow so many mixed race! Thailand is ethnically diverse due to its heavy route is business as many people come there
Yeah, specially major cities like Bangkok, where it's hard to distinguish who is a local and who is a foreigner.
Diversity? They were mostly mixed with white ppl just white ppl that spoke different languages. Is it diversity when is dna I from the same place
Well, it is known for sex tourism, so not kind of unusual. I'm assuming, many Thai women married tourists or foreigners in Thailand. This is true of many south-east Asian countries. Women prefer a better life and preferably a white guy who can give them that.
@@blcritic Have you even been to Thailand? Thais are very different looking from foreigners. Most of them aren't even pale-skinned. They are darker. The people in Bls and other dramas don't represent the majority of Thais...with regard to their looks. That is why, they have this bias for actors of a mixed race. Because those actors look different from the local population.
@@lavanya_sanatani 😄 I myself am a mix Thai.
Toruuuuuuuu😍😍 my fav among all 🙈🙈🙈
wait..isn't Nanon pure Thai?
i think he's half thai and half viet because his cousin ggigie is full vietnamese
What is Thai singaporean? Singapore has 3 main ethnicity. Malay, Chinese and indian.
didnt expect meen is thai mixed with russian 😳
isn't joong (archen aydin) half thai half turkish? or he just lived in turkey?
He is Thai, his mother remarried with a Turkish guy, so his half brother and sister are mixed. he just lived in Turkey while growing up.
He's dual nationality. But fully Thai by blood.
I did not know that about
Bass Mond Nanon ( Nanon suprised me the most)
Half of them i new just based on looks i said to myself i know he is mixed or lived abroad
Jeff Satur is Mix Too but i don't know if its American, autralian or else
Yeah, I also searched, but couldn't get it. Usually we get everything about Lakorn actors in magazines and tabloids however, there are less about Bl actors.
Another - Chahub (Check Out and Skinship). Mother Thai, Father Arabian xD
Nuttarat (Noeul) Tangwai from Love In The Air ❤
Noeul from « Love in the air » who’s half Thai half Korean
So many Thailand actors are Chinese descendants.
Now it is quite difficult to distinguish between pure Thai people and Chinese people 😅
Yeah it's very hard to distinguish.
In Thailand, about 40 millions are Chinese descent but we still consider ourselves Thai not Thai-Chinese.
@@taan4cc480 Yes Thai Chinese are Thai and almost everyone of us have at least 1 person (grandfather/grandmother) from either of the parent's side who have Chinese ancestry
