Got myself a 2001 ford f150 with the 4.2 any major problems that I should be worried about has only 145k im the second owner of it?
@@thomasreisdorff7460 They have been a pretty good vehicle. Occasionally we see leaking inside gaskets but those are an easy fix. Just the normal maintenance and they seem to go for a long time.
Thanks for watching the show and leaving a comment.

Love the show. I am trying to help my brother figure out a soft brake pedal on his 65 mustang. V8 automatic. He put on a 4 wheel disc brake conversion kit with power booster. We’ve bled the master cylinder and calipers multiple times. I suspected a bad master cylinder and suggested that he try plugging the ports where the brake lines screw in. He tried that and said that the brake pedal felt firm. So it seems that the master cylinder is working correctly. We can’t find any leaks and bleeding the system isn’t working. Ideas? Thank you! Corey
If you plugged the master that’s good. It’s the best test. Next if it’s properly bled take a close look at the calipers and make sure that there is no slack between the pistons and the pads. The more movement the lower the pedal will go. Also make sure the master is the correct one for 4 wheel disc brakes. Also the correct brake proportioning valve for 4 wheel disc.
@@UnderTheHoodShow I will try that thank you

I have a 2012 Honda crv basic model. Getting a loud squeak when I go in reverse and sometimes when I turn left. Changed front left bearings. All 4 brakes. Still does it
What area is it coming from?
Cincinnati Ohio.
It doesn't squeak when I hit the brakes
If it is squeaking u til you hit the brakes it may be a problem with the caliper causin go it to not be square with the rotor or another issue such as the shied. A bearing can also cause this. It should be inspected in a hoist.
Thank you
