I am changing the battery out with a new battery to my key fob. The old one stayed in but this new battery wants to pop out of the slot. I put it in the right way and closed it back but it’s not working to unlock my vehicle. There is nothing wrong with my key fob. I have a set of two. I have a sonic 2019 sonic turbo and I just changed the battery in my key fob but it won’t unlock the doors or make a sound I’m not sure what to do next. And I’m trying to do the steps in the video but my door is different lock key. It has where you stick the key in but that’s had some issues.
Great video! On your website when adding a remote the step by step says to place "your two remotes" in the cup holder. Does it work the same if you only have 1 remote?
The way the manual is written is terrible, I was uncertain if you need to unlock the door 5 times 2 more additional times as well as press start, you do not.
you will need to re-program your original remote during the procedure as it will be erased. If you look at the steps in the description box - you ned to repeat steps 4-6 for your original remote after the new one is programmed.

You said if you have no other key fob…… My first one works trying to program a second FOB, same procedure?
