I have visited some of Thor mentioned countries and this video provides inputs not noticeable for tourist. Great information to consider before relocating.

Colombia isn’t perfect but the “dangers” have been reduced to mostly just petty crime. Lots of stereotypes about what it’s like there are outdated, ill-intended, ignorant/plain wrong. I traveled there extensively from the Amazon to the northernmost point and lots of places in between (Bucaramanga, Bogota, Cartagena, Santa Marta); and had zero issues. Granted, I wasn’t waving my phone around, going to sketchy places alone, interacting with street vendors, or leaving a laptop unattended at a coffee shop while I used the restroom… but this seems common sense for all travelers. You would almost have to be careless for something really bad to happen to you there but that seems to be the case in most countries and not unique to Colombia.

Where would you want to retire if money were no obstacle? 🤔🤔
    I'm picking Switzerland.
Realistic retiring location? Colombia or Spain sound fun though somewhere in Southeast Asia seems like a more obvious choice.
