Thank you for uploading iv been looking for this video for years had it on tape when I was a boy im now 32 so been a long time since iv seen it. Would love to have on DVD
Thanks for posting this. So many memories, early teens volunteering on Enfield site and then mid teens helping lay tracks at Thirlmere - no car so 7am departure from lower blue mountains by train, maybe 9pm home. Group supervisor was Gill Wheaton, nickname Gill Wheatbix, so grownup, great guy, maybe 25 at the time?
Im glad they found a location after being booted out of the Enfield site. Id like to thank the mongrels of the Public Transport Commission for tearing a beautiful roundhouse and literally perfect site for the museum, for their damned container depot. What is it with these people, these, things. Build your damned container depots somewhere else, plenty of room elsewhere, ever thought of that? Seriously, tear down an old, UNUSED site like a factory or something, tear THAT down instead of perfectly good IN USE museum that's beneficial not only to the history and respect of your community but also the commerce and tourism of said community.
