Where in WA were these findings Liz?
When it comes to prospecting for gold and gems in Western Australia, I can't give exact locations as there are many rules and regulations governing where you can and can't go. Unfortunately when some people see these locations on a public forum, some do the wrong thing and make it difficult for gaining future access to some of these sites. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
No prospector in they're right mind would tell you where they are finding what they are, its a bad idea and one that could cost you a LOT of money should someone come in and steal material off your claim. In other words, don't bother asking, 9 out of 10 times your either be told the wrong location or not at all.
Liz Kreate Why share video if you cant say where ?
@@aznation4592 Its not so easy to say where a person found stuff short of posting exact map coordinates for a 10sq ft patch of earth. Theres more to it than just being secretive.
This is my question too😂
I love watching all your videos. You're so full of energy and it feels like a child again seeing amazing things for the first time. And I'm learning at the same time about rocks and gemstones. Looks fun!
My goodness Liz, this is literal heaven!
Tell me about it. I didn't wanna leave. Looking forward to going back there. Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2018. Stay safe and Happy Hunting. Cheers, Liz
Am also into minning and I have lots of garnets and rough rubies
This is a wonderful video and most enjoyable indeed. It brings back memories as a young child in the late 1970's when I was given a beautiful parcel of intense blue aquamarine from WA. They were heavily flawed but all glassy and transparent.. The most divine intense blue. There were also glassy green beryls of a fluorite colour. Sold them on eBay a couple of year's for quite good prices as well but I really regret now as I probably will never come accross any like them again. I'll never forget that rich glassy blue. Some things are just too beautiful to sell. Thanks for sharing.
I have rough blue topaz, blue tourmaline, emerald, aquamarine, golden beryl and white clear crystals for sale, pls if you are a serious buyer contact me on WhatsApp +2348066172700
Education is a fantastic gift you share!
Thanks for watching Bonnie. Merry Christmas and all the very best for the New Year. Cheers, Liz
what makes a beryl an emerald is the ore. when a beryl forms on chromium it takes on a green hue and is therefore considered emerald. most of these are probably aquamarines, unless you see some shiny metal bits on them
I love to hear how excited you get when Wal finds a haul. He has a good eye! Tell him I said “Hi!” All the best for 2021. 😍
Thanks for watching. Wal says "Hi!" back. Wishing you too the very best for 2021.

Good on you for supporting Devondale dairy products Liz! We used to supply them when we had the farm and our farmers need all the support they can get at the moment. 👍
We definitely always try to support our farmers. Thanks for watching Bradley and hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers, Liz

Wow! That's alot of green ones. Cool!😲
Such a fun video. Thankyou for posting.
Beautiful Crystals ! I was just walking through a similar area... then I woke up.
What a spot! It occurs to me that if they crushed where you were collecting that there is probably a hole nearby with larger cobbles and perhaps some crystals still in the wall. Thanks for sharing.
It's a big area and we did not have time to explore it further; so who knows. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a safe and Happy Holidays and all the best for the New Year. Cheers, Liz

Australia must be the absolute best place to rock hound. You find all sorts of wonderful precious and semi precious stones. Love your videos. Makes me want to go rock hunting.
Except it's all private property or conservation land. Lots there but locked up out of sight.
Holy moly! i dream of places like this where i live!!! 🏴🇬🇧

May you have a safe and exciting year a head, Cheers.
Awesome video 👍😃
I'm new to your channel and find it fascinating. I've loved rocks since I was a small child.. fossils, minerals, gems. I've never had the time to actually make a trip specifically for hunting them, tho. How in the world do you get word about these amazing places? Wow, what great fun!
One of my best finds are a 42.76 cart emerald and a 42.75 cart aquamarine so pretty good finds
WOW! You're lucky Aidan. We only get small ones here in Oz. Thanks for watching. Wishing you all the very best for the New Year. Cheers, Liz
I NEED A RAKE AND A TRUCK, THAT FIELD WOULD BE MINE!💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗
I understand more rocks that I don't know before thank you
Liz, where are you? I'm trying to convince my family to sell our home and buy a mobile home and do what you do. Life is short, you are always so happy & excited about what you do. Where are you on this trip?
This is in Western Australia Christine. I'm always content when I'm in the bush as I don't have to worry about bills and problems of the world. Thanks for watching and commenting.Merry Christmas to you and the family and may 2018 be the best year ever! Stay safe. Cheers, Liz
Christine H , I'll go with you on the road! Lol
I have collected so many different types of stones from nearby creeks where I live and don't know what most of them are but so much fun collecting them!!
Liz Kreate I've been collecting various quartzes mostly clear but also rose quartz and smoky quartz and citrine and fluorite
totally feel the same! explore this gorgeous planet! Nothing more generous than mother earth
+TdawnT 1226 I am ready. We can split the cost of a camper and let's roll.
Wow, wished I could find a patch like that in Ohio!!! Jealous but also happy for you finding these "little gems."
I have rough blue topaz, blue tourmaline, emerald, golden beryl and white clear crystals for sale, pls if you are a serious buyer contact me on WhatsApp +2348066172700
Wow and I get excited when I find sea glass. There is amber on our beaches in the UK but never found any as yet
Nice!
I wish I was there RIGHT NOW! Heaven.
Liz thanks for sharing your enthusiasm and knowledge.
I hope you can do a video of how you will clean the beryl collector specimens and crystals.
And if you make any into jewelry. I really enjoyed the one of you processing the garnet and prehnite, and when you featured your lapidary studio.
Is there a way to email you other then through google+? I have some other questions about the garnet processing. I have a bunch to process.
Thanks and cheers from Canada :)
Lucky you! I love your enthusiasm, I would be the same!! 😂
great place. In the part of the netherlands where I live its really hard to find some spots like these, and at most of the beaches with bedrocks everyrhing is covered with tar so its hard to find crystals that have been left by nature, but we have lots of spots where they fill up iron carcasses with a shit load of big raw stones, defenitely 1/3 of them contain crystals but these are owned by the town, the governing people of our town. So I could make myself at home and take some of the stones but then im still exceeding the law 😅 but they also dump a lot of these stone & sand mixtures next to or at entrances of forests so there is much to find but you'd have to find out for yourself where to look before you can just pick a day to start gem hunting
Man this is such a cool video👏, so satisfying to watch ✌. And even that calcite is gorgeous! (Wish i could be there) Thanks!😃
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
Thank you Liz for showing us what's possible if you just do a little walking in nature, look down and you might be surprised.
I suspect I may have found another way to make my wife squeal with delight; give her a pair of tweezers and a bunch of rocks. All jokes aside, love your videos & your passion as a Rockhound. Well done.😀.
Yes, and as luck would have it she will be able to use her tweezers with this activity too. :)
That’s funny, I found a way to make your wife squeal with delight *also*, but it’s just between us so I don’t want to share it publicly. JUST KIDDING BROTHER!!! 🙏🙏🙏😁😁😁
i like your collection of rocks .
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND VIDEOS.....I REALLY LIKE FINDING BEAUTIFUL STONES TOO.....MARTY FROM SOUTH CAROLINA IN U.S.A. KEEP UP THE FUN AND INFORMATIVE VIDEOS.......

Thanks for watching John. Merry Christmas and all the very best for the New Year. Cheers, LIz
I didn't see a cutter in the lot, just crazed and cracked, cloudy beryl specimens. Good for giving away to the kids.
I wish I could get emeralds and stuff like that but where I live I basically only have fluorite and quarts and I’m a young rock/crystal/gemstone hunter my collection is basically just a ruby and serpentine and a chunk of blue jade I got in California when visiting family my dream is to do what you do Liz so keep up the fun rock hunting :D
Amazing Liz and Wal...All the best for 2018 and Merry Christmas... Cheers Arthur :)
And to you too Arthur. Merry Christmas and all the very best for the New Year. Cheers, Liz

Liz Kreate Well tell you feathered child Pedro, I said to have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.! 🐴🎄🇺🇸
Aquamarine..😍😍😍
Are you able to facet any of your stuff or just cab it? You guys always have interesting trips. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate that you included some notes about the matrix and geology in which the emeralds were found. I have my own place where I find emeralds but I don't understand the geology which limits my ability to really find the emeralds. If I knew more about the geology, I could read my site better.
Liz, I enjoyed watching your excitement in finding the green beryl crystals. Did you know you could recrystallize them into gem quality emeralds? Well, it appears you collected enough to do it. I collected several buckets of similar beryl crystals from a pegmatite deposit in New Hampshire in the early 1980's and learned with heat, pressure, a seed crystal, vanadium and chromium for color, then gem quality emeralds could be grown. Too bad beryllium is so toxic and the Russians beat me to the process and flooded the market.. Emeralds are still my favorite gem, regardless. Love your excitement!
Que sorte ...parabéns
that looks like so much fun..........would be a nice life too.........thanks for sharing.......hugssss
It's a tough life Kim... I'm up at the crack of dawn, no appetite for the entire day and back to camp on dark. Wish I'm still there. Hu hu hu. :-( Thanks for watching, Happy holidays and all the very best for the New Year. Cheers, Liz
WOW!!! JUST WOW!!! I'm a rockhound and have never seen anything like that, that's crazy
We are very lucky here in Australia to have such places still open to the public. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Yes that's awesome. I would love to visit. You guys have the best gold nuggets :O)
Thanks for the new video! You are such a joy to watch because you are so full of joy (also the pretty rocks are pretty great).
HUGS....Thanks for watching Emma Rose and wishing you all the very best for the New Year. Cheers, Liz
Interesting..JTV sells what they refer to as emerald jewelry..but the stones that you call beryl are the ones they call Zambian emerald because of their solid color..no translucent..
I personally like the more translucent variety..but they must be darker..n with the emerald being my birthstone..I am looking for that perfect one..
Loved the peridot video
Wow. Keep it up, ámazing
we always thought it would be interesting to rockhound and prospect out your way
I'm sure that if you ever come to Australia, you'll find that the prospecting over here can be very rewarding. Thanks for watching and happy hunting. Cheers, Liz

I love your vids and i love stones so much but i dont know how to identify them and im thinking on going out for a hunt i migth just pick up everything😂
Liz, I once had a cockatiel who I raised from being newly hatched. Fed him baby cereal and other stuff, I have forgotten the recipe. Anyway, he was the love of my life. He would whistle at me when I dressed up, said a few words, whistled Yankee Doodle Dandy. He would take rides on my little long haired Chihuahua and groom her. He would sit on the edge of my dinner plate and we would feed each other. He did this until one day he jumped feet first into my plate of hot spaghetti. That burned his little feet and I had to put burn salve on him.
Sammy was his name, sorry.
Sammy was on the shoulder of my now ex-husband during dinner and the ex, for some reason decided, during dinner to step outside and Sammy took off.!! He was gone for about a week when my daughter heard his whistle up in a big tree.
I made my husband drive his truck to the tree and with a long ladder and a net got him safely.
But Sammy was never the same after being gone that long with our resources and passed away. I and my daughter were terribly heartbroken.
I live in the country so we can bury our pets. I have many cats, dogs, lizards and birds buried there. So he is still close to me. I love the way you two interact with Pedro. Thank you for sharing.!
😍🇺🇸
