I've binged all of Season 1 in the past 24 hours, I love this series so much. I hope you continue to enjoy this series as much as many of us enjoy watching it.
The structure, pacing, overall look of these videos is incredible, such a refreshing taste of all-round quality among the sea of flashy colors and super-fast paced structure that is 99% of mcyt. Masterfully done, the progression from video to video, the commentary, everything is so tasteful and enjoyable, so thank you for sharing it with us. I think series like this showcase a much bigger portion of this game's actual potential, that being the near-limitless customizability of the environment, gameplay, pacing, goals of the game even before you generate a world, with equally limitless possibilities when you enter it. Wonderful to see, I hope people are inspired by your series and realize that there's more to block game than hardcore challenges and vanilla survival.
this series has been exactly what ive been looking for... someone with great attention to detail, interest in making their builds realistic, establishing lore, and grand plans for the future. love this stuff. thank you man.
This series has been an incredible journey, but now it's time to walk past those stone ruins, and onwards to new adventures. You may never return to the place you once called home, but I just know that the adventure to follow will be unforgettable!
Since your getting Into realistic minecraft mods like conquest, there's a game I would like to recommend it's called vintage story it's made by a former minecraft moder who wanted to make a more realistic blocky survival game, its very unique and enjoyable if you want a new challenge.
Hey btw just so you know in the Viking age they would never have raiding/war ships in small lakes like yours maybe a kayak or a canoe, they would only have one if there was a large enough river connecting to the lake that lead out to the sea! Not saying anything bad just thought I should share 😂 lovely builds love the atmosphere!
Hey, I just wanted to say, you have been a big inspiration to me and you got me back into Minecraft and conquest, I love your content because I’ve been trying to find something like this for years but nobody was doing it, when I found the hammer I felt a big relief and I just want to say thank you. Good luck with this series!
such a great finale!! i greatly enjoyed this first season of the hammer and will be patiently waiting for the next one. your content is of the highest quality i have seen when it comes to minecraft and this series especially is my favorite! i just noticed the three dimensional soundscape in the cinematic shots and it’s amazing! normally that’s just something that you don’t really think about, but now that i’m aware of it, it adds so much atmosphere to these scenes.
i've binged the entirety of s1 today, this content has been incredibly refreshing! your cinematography, music and minecraft builds are all so stunning. you balance progress, clips of you doing work and cinematography incredibly well, can't wait for the next age!!
I really like the longer episode for this "season finale." Obviously it's more work, but it's hard to immerse yourself in the world with 10 minute episodes.
such an inspiring series!! your building is so good and the effort you put into these videos is just top tier, they are so immersive and amazing it doesnt even feel like minecraft sometimes, more like a movie. bring on season 2!! so excited!!
This channel deserves more subs, I love the narrative you do with the cinematic inserts and everything. Great stuff! edit: just read the description and holy crap, you make your own bg music too?? Okay, this channel having less than a million subs is a crime, seriously.
I've honestly really liked the series because of how small the modpack is. It's easy to digest what's going on because of the small amount mods you use (that I'm also familiar with) while also building some nice things as well. I can't wait to see what you have planned for season 2 ^^
This has already been one of my favorite RUclips series I've ever watched and it's only just getting started. I've also loved seeing how much your channel has grown even in just the few days I've been here, so incredibly deserved keep it up!
just binged this entire series over the last few days because not only are your builds amazing but the presentation of each video is so far beyond anything i've ever seen in minecraft youtube videos. this series has singlehandedly renewed my love for this game that i've been playing since it was in alpha.
Discovered your series by chance. Very relaxing and entertaining, but mostly inspiring! Been playing MC off and on, but this pushed me over the edge to get more invested and get your mod pack as well. Keep it up!
This honestly has so many of my favourite elements of a Minecraft RUclips series. 1. Striving for historical accuracy 2. Beautiful mod packs 3. Technical mod packs 4. Beautiful, unobtrusive music I love this mix of mod packs you have and I’d love to be able to play them all myself. You’ve done a really good job on this series. I’d encourage you to do two things: research the shit out of your chosen time and civilisation before starting for accuracy from the beginning. I get a real kick out of minecrafters building faithfully to historical details. Also, don’t be afraid to be silent. Your beautiful work speaks for itself. Some of my favourite mcyters don’t even speak at all during their 20-30 minute long videos. The ambient sounds are peaceful and relaxing. Anything they really want to say can be a hard-encoded subtitle. Well done!
wooow! this probably is my first time watching a video of yours and it left me in awe with the mod/texture pack and buildings you have. i will check more of your vids :) keep up the good work bud. you've earned a new subscriber here :)
hey idk if ur reading this and sry for my bad english, but i just wanted to say that im really enjoying ur vids a lot, great content. Its the best thing un can do to chill after a stressful day :) also im from the north of germany and ur building style is quite accurate, we got a like rl museum here and its a bit simular ( only a windmill is missing lol (create can do that good hehe)) Im ready for S2 :D
I didn't know that they soaked hides in chemicals for leather. Interesting! This is such a fun and surprisingly educational series. Looking forward to season 2! :D
I just discovered this channel through The Hammer series and subbed. I want more of this stuff, I'm done watching regular gameplays. This kind of stuff is all I want. I binged the entire series in one day.
I hope when you continue a series, you keep this village somewhere on the map, connected or disconnected, either or If connected, maybe as trading partners, or if disconnected, then as a potential threat/ rival to the more advanced town you make
Obsessed with this series. This play style speaks to me :) Your exceptional knack for detail, theme, lore, and cinematography make this series stand out ❤️
Goes hard, I like the flow of the series so far, it would be sick to see some sawmills and joinery type builds in the next village. Potentially some more typed of fallen logs and dead tree areas, if going to wood age, trying to signify the active harvesting of wood. Thanks man!
This was an incredible series to watch, I don't think I've come across anything modded-wise that seemed as intricate as this! Sad to see it end! Appreciate all the effort you put into your vids and look forward to the next season!!
I keep being surprised by how visually stunning your cinematic shots are. And the building process, coupled with just a really normal, cozy commentary--as opposed to the typical overly excited narration you'd expect from a minecraft playthrough these days--absolutely incredible series. Keep it up! Can't wait for more. /
Your videos are very well edited! Good job! I also really enjoyed listening to you explain your building process. This mod is awesome and everything I've ever wanted in minecraft. wish I had a pc to play on D;
Just want take a second to say I really appreciate the utter quality you put in to your content, and though it isn't "mainstream" it is still amazing and you deserve as much recognition as the biggest channels. Can't wait to see you pass 100K!
This is a minecraft survival series ON ANOTHER LEVEL 🔥 Take as much time as you need, but keep working on these videos as much as you put the details in your builds. Just amazing work ❤
wonderful series. in some ways, all the mods you're using makes this minecraft feel more...minecraftier than the modern, vanilla, microsoft version. your series is also full of little pieces of all of our experiences (down to the OCD on builds). thanks for sharing your joy of the game with us...
I only discovered you recently with the charcoal burner episode. Seeing as this is the end of the Dirt Age, I may as well subscribe and continue the journey with you from here. Looking forward to it!
Oh my god when i read the title i screamed thinking the series was over T_T I cant wait for season 2! It feels like we've come so far and really lived out the dirt age :D Also your cinematic transitions remind me of a Miyazaki film ^_^
IIRC you can make a wooden waterwheel to automate those wooden gears in case you ever want to not manually turn the millstone. It just requires a watersource running down ontop of it. Hope this helps and good luck on the next era! :)
This series is so inspiring! The idea behind it is literally the same i was dreaming of doing myself, except for one thing, that in my opinion would very much fit your adventure. According to my idea, Minecraft was meant to be realistic not only in the way of how buildings look, but also how you progress. I couldn't finish my idea because I wanted to implement realistic physics into Minecraft, so that you could only carry a certain weight on you and even use primitive devices to lift objects. Unfortunately, I never really got free time for it. My recommendation for you is to actually build realistically, so placing supports and scaffolding first (or a crane for large buildings), and then finishing the rest. This would make building timelapses a lot more interesting. Another thing, im not really a fan of the idea to build an entire village. Most of the buildings, except for the farms, storage rooms and your own house are pretty much useless. I think instead of them, you could make a science lab and do something within in to upgrade to a new stage. So, that's my thoughts. Good luck!
Usefulness shouldn't matter, it's about creation, so who's to say that it's a waste of time? Such a thing may apply to you, but for those who like to create, functionality is second. You needn't a tavern to play such a game, but this would be boring to the creative mind. Creating a story is what many, including I, enjoy to do, to create a world of our own. A writer needn't create a whole world if it merely takes place in a single country during a single age, but it's fun to do so regardless. This is but my own reasoning as to why we create villages, in the end, it's not about the progression in the way games create a pathway, but as a way to learn, of mythology, of ourselves, of what we enjoy. In the end, it's useful, not from a game standpoint, but from a personal standpoint. Then again, Minecraft is more about creativity, so the right answer lies with none but ourselves, sure there's a way to create progress, however, it's up to us to choose how to tackle it, we need not to look towards others. I recommend everyone to simply enjoy the game how they desire, after all, it's an experience. For me and as it seems for Lowres and many others, we enjoy crafting stories, and locations, rather than being technical, if that's not how you work, then that's fine. So you may not be a fan of it, but the creator is, and subsequently, perhaps from a combination of my enjoyment of storytelling, and the fact that Lowres seems to be enjoying such things as well, I think it's fine to let him play as he pleases. T'is just my thoughts, feel free to agree, disagree, or agree to disagree, all I ask is for you to be kind.
Oh, I see! Very much thank you for your answer! Perhaps it's just me who doesn't need that much creativity to enjoy Minecraft. I'm not really that creative, but if you enjoy it, then go ahead, it's still very interesting to watch
Well you've gained a new subscriber. I love world progression series things. Especially ones that take into account consistent logic that is thoroughly thought out. Depth, not detail.
It's impressive how you can stay sane while playing a complex mod like conquest reforged. I once tried this mod and rage quit in 5 minutes after finding out just how many assets it contains
honestly, i don't know how you're not more popular, all your videos/ideas are so artistic and so pleasant to behold. i mean... you even make your own music too... come on now. this is the minecraft we need

I'm About to do the same this looks great
yeah i just found this today. i have been watching off and on all day. I also subscribed today!
Same but for me it's been more like 72 hours.
Same!!
I really appreciate this type of content because it feels like I’m watching a movie.

Ya i was thinkong the same thing!

I would love a medieval playthrough of this mod, creating castles towns maybe even cities. Love your work!

Absolutely love the style of the hall, and the building process!
Omg those curtains, and wagon wheels/Shields are amazing!
yes I love this immersive series and can't what for the next movie experience

Keep it up! This is a fresh look at survival. Love you style and creativity.
Is this the end of the serious? 🤯 I hope it comes back, this series is so amazing.
Loving the use of the LABS Plugin for the music my man! Just came across your channel and it makes these videos so much more unique!
You did it, you are a legend dude! Looking forward to the next season!
wonderful series. in some ways, all the mods you're using makes this minecraft feel more...minecraftier than the modern, vanilla, microsoft version. your series is also full of little pieces of all of our experiences (down to the OCD on builds). thanks for sharing your joy of the game with us...
This place looks fantastic! I can't wait to see what the next village look like.
Enjoyed this series a lot so far, love your attention to detail
I love your work, man. Awesome ideas within an awesome modpack
I only discovered you recently with the charcoal burner episode. Seeing as this is the end of the Dirt Age, I may as well subscribe and continue the journey with you from here. Looking forward to it!
Thus was a really cool first season, I'm keen to see what you build next
That title gave me a heart attack 😭
Me too! (× _ ×) i just died

Also I just had an idea for the WOOD AGE: The Wood&Paper Age, a Japanese town/area! Would love to see your take on an asian kingdom in this world
Incredible! I hope to see more series of yours and cant wait for season 2, huge fan, keep it like that
Love it like a movie, you should make a Minecraft Server like this (with this mod ofc)
IIRC you can make a wooden waterwheel to automate those wooden gears in case you ever want to not manually turn the millstone. It just requires a watersource running down ontop of it. Hope this helps and good luck on the next era! :)
very well done on season 1, can't wait for season 2!
Thanks man fir giving us a longer episode. I really enjoyed watching it.
Loved season 1 and loved this video man!
I watched the season over the last week, its been a great ride, loving it!

That was great, I can't wait for for season two!
Amazing work! Every one of these videos are so impressive. Cant wait for more

I really love your contents.
I'm loving this series, top tier content!
Can't wait for the next season, hope you find it as entertaining as we do watching it
so much effort goes into these and it shows.
We love you low res, I hope you never lose inspiration for this series.
I haven't even seen the video yet, but I'm sure it'll be a banger like ur other vids!
It would be cool if the stone pillars were more of a spiritual ward, like the barrier between worlds, and on the other side you build in a more fantasy style like it’s the faerie kingdom or something (if you were planning on taking the series in a more fantasy direction that is)
I wish I am as motivated with Minecraft building as you are!!! I consider myself a good builder, but I’m impatient; Great series!
You scared me dude. 😩💨 but I'm glad that hammer ain't dead yet! 🔨💕
idk how you dont have atleast 100k subs for the quality of theese vids ngl. this is some good shit, man
SO CLEANNN
You have gotten yourself a new subscriber! Great work❤
Fun series, I hope you continue it further.
