Plus he loved her and they yelled out that he was useless. Didn't try to comfort him one bit. And chat was probably deeply wounded from his father (flashback). There were so many things that lb and rena could've done to comfort chat.

I honestly feel bad for Adrien. They didn’t have to put him down like that oh my god and his superhero life is literally the only time he doesn’t get bugged or criticized by people like Marinette chill. Leave the kid alone he just wants to be loved. I don’t like how other heroes are just taking chat noir’s job for no reason. I’ve been called useless and been kept in the dark too. Adrien is emotionally traumatized. He lost his mother. Neglected by his father. Forced to be the perfect golden boy and anything under that is not to his father’s standards. Isolated from other people. Doesn’t rlly understand affection.
Literally being a superhero was his escape but being called useless? That’s what he was escaping from. The insults and the standards. And one of his responses was so heartbreaking but was totally overlooked by Rena and Ladybug. “I thought you didn’t need me anymore.” Think about those lines. He helps ladybug every. Single. Time. When there’s a villain. But then he’s not even called by ladybug who is his “equal partner” whom she had just replaced him with another hero, no warning. Then gets yelled at by Rena “SO YOU WERE JUST WATCHING US” Ignored by literally the line that implies that he thinks he isn’t needed.
Even though they are saying that they needed him, maybe they could’ve bothered to call him. But they didn’t. And looking back on the show, Ladybug usually does. So is it so wrong for him to assume when they look like they’re doing such a good job by themselves, not calling him for any help whatsoever? In my opinion I think it is.
Where’s chat noir’s right of justice. It’s framing him for being the bad one here by lashing out at ladybug. But ladybug and Rena were the first to lash out with him making a mistake. Which mind you, he does say sorry for. (even tho imo I don’t think he has to take the blame for) Which they also overlook and call him useless. Further telling him he’s not needed despite being partners with ladybug since the very beginning.
With him having an emotional breakdown screaming “I SAID IM SORRY” and hitting ladybug. And even though it’s not right to hurt people, it’s not entirely his fault. He made a mistake, got yelled at, tried saying sorry got called useless. Rena and Ladybug were just begging for a bad reaction. It was the last straw for him and he just breaks. Breaks down, crying a yelling and does a brash and reckless act of violence. What bugs me most is that he says sorry and it just doesn’t matter. Like what the hell is the point of saying sorry if it doesn’t mean anything. It’s not like it was life threatening to ladybug and Rena, bc they come out without a scratch. It’s also mlb and the villains are all goofy. So his sorry essentially means nothing. They aren’t listening to what he’s saying and are just making stupid comments and only thinking about themselves.
Finally let’s talk abt the aftermath. Look at his face. He backlashes out of anger and hurts someone by accident. (The cliché but I digress) He stands there staring at her with shock and regret of what he did. Speechless. It was so much pent up anger that he’s confused of what he did. “Did I-I just…” “M-M’lady…” confusion and then his desire to help. But Rena tells him to go away.

Yes, okay it's understandable that Adrian was there but Aly and Mari were doing okay on their own, Adrian felt "Useless" or Unable to do anything. Chat Noir and Lady Bug are the main heroes, all the other miraculous are used when it’s absolutely necessary. Lady Bug in the show usually fights the akumatized person alone if Chat Noir doesn’t show up on time and if he doesn’t come at all, she will give someone a miraculous. So now she going to decide Rena Rouge is going to fight with her without confronting her own partner about it? I get that there was no time to confront Chat Noir about it, but in that fight Rena Rouge was not necessary. I also see what you’re seeing about the whole Chat Noir was being a big baby with his Jealousy and not caring about saving people. Over all I feel like they were all wrong in a way. (Sorry for writing all that)

Like yeah, what they did was wrong and they shouldn't have said it, but it doesn't excuse or justify his actions.
If you're saying that he did it out of anger and that he should be excused for doing it, shouldn't Ladybug and Rena Rouge also be excused for what they did because they *also* did it out of anger? If anything, they're all at fault here. (but that's just my opinion 🤷)
