I want to be able to create my character with long white hair like grindelwald, be able to use wandless magic, and be able to fly like a dark smoke like the voldemort did, so far most spells look the same but with different colors
I've seen the spells look different, but they're all light projectiles. Same as the books, mostly. Interested in seeing the status effects they cause. We know about curse already, which causes the cursed to take more damage. There are bound to be others with this type of rpg. Looking forward to it. Hopes aren't unrealistic that this game won't be bad. I think a lot of the environment combat spells will be like the abilities in spider man, hit R1 or something to grab and throw it at an enemy.
All this stuff with dark magic make me feel so tempted to go dark.. But at the same time I wanna stay in the light 😂 Yet those curses look so cool and powerful.
My theory for the killing curse is that it will be a finisher move. There will be some kind of resource that you accrue in battle that lets you cast your most powerful spells, and the killing curse will be one of them. Bosses etc... will need to be at or below a specific amount of health before you can cast it. I dont think they would just have it for one cutcene, or specific story points where you can cast it, I think that would just annoy people. It would be better to just not include it at all. However, you also cant just use it to oneshot major story bosses either.
IF we are allowed to use the trio outside of cutscenes and special in-game events then they will no doubt have high magic costs or long cooldown periods. Otherwise the spells would be way too OP. That said, leveling up and practicing the spells may also decrease these costs/waiting times.
Who cares if they're OP it's not multiplayer so it doesn't matter the AI doesn't care if we one shot them in a row the game shouldn't limit us with spells ive learnt. It's my adventure it's my story if I want to use Avada Kedavra 6 times in a row without a cool down I should be allowed too. I shouldn't be forced to use it only in a cutscene or certain parts in the game what's the point in unlocking it if we can't spam it same with crucio and imperio. Same with every single spell. I don't understand you ppl saying the game will be too easy if we can spam Avada Kedavra like if you don't want the game to be too easy then don't spam it dont even use it. Why should the rest of us suffer just because you don't want the game to be too easy? Most ppl play on easy anyways most people playing this game will just be seeing the world around them some people playing this game will just be playing it for the story we don't care about the difficulty the the books and movies dark witches and wizards don't have a cool down to use it again they literally spam it countless times. Giving it a cooldown or a charge up would break lore apologies if this feels like I'm going at you I just want to rant
There's a lot of people that agree with you I'm sure. I think the biggest thing with them is that it could just break the lore and logic, since you would eventually need to get in some kind of trouble using them all the time.
From what I’ve seen, I think it is likely that Avada Kadavra will probably be some some kind of finishing move or something we can use in cutscenes, same with crucio. Imperio could probably be used in stealth as well as main combat.
One thing im kinda worried about in this game is, as you can see you will be spamming spells and its gonna get hella annoying if they say the spells name every single time u cast. Hopefully not the case tho
You've seen that Forspoken game by Square Enix? You have 2 scroll wheels of magic abilities, I'm pretty sure in Hogwarts you'll have the same amount of freedom to spice up your combos + some enemies have different weaknesses.
@@darkemperor418 there can be a lot of side quests, this one would make absolutely no sense. It would also be a violation of the lore, according to which Voldemort is the only dark wizard to have made horcruxes in the last few centuries.
@@JoshLevelsUp works for me i can get it when the price drops not like i have to worry about it not having players oh well gmod harry potter lol for now

Yeah the only thing I hope for in customization is really long hair with good physics
The only realistic expectation is your character having long hair.
greetings from , The Violator .

“Without parole” when talking about Azkaban gave me a good laugh 😆
I mean I’d rather serve life then receive a kiss from those spooky balloon ghost buggers
Not getting out for that one haha!
Very true!
Ppl, something to consider if you have one, buy this for PC, imagine the mods formed a community and “scholars” that adores the books!
The mods could be incredible for sure!

Kinda reminds me of infamous
Two playthroughs maybe haha?
@@JoshLevelsUp I plan to do at least two playthroughs myself!

I think that's a good theory about how they may work. However, I could also see it being used in very limited times during the game as well.

Where's the fun if you don't learn at least one dark art spell? 😏
Very good question, I definitely want to learn them.
Will definitely learn AND use all 3 😈
Very nice!
First run through I’m definitely gonna be using them lol I’ll be a “neutral” wizard. House of Slytherine
I dont think neutral is the right word. These curses are distinctly evil. I think the you mean 'chaotic good'.
Gonna be fun either way!
Thanks for the video. Very articulated. Cheers.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the comment!
It would really suck if you can only choose one of these curses per playthrough.
I believe you'll be able to use all three.

Tbf would be too op if we could walk around casting it all the time
I would be kind of cool if we could make horocruxes
I would like to be able to play as a character that looks like JK Rowling
I think you'll be able to customize your character very nicely in this game.
I usually do the dark route first in game's if they have that option then I'll replay again in the other route and see which one I like more
I always like that option, adds some replayability.
Yes it does

I'm not sure that they say it each time, but maybe they'll be an option to toggle them off/on in game.
@@JoshLevelsUp see now that would be a nice feature, a little option button in the options
I cannot wait
Same here!
I don’t really care about those 3 spells. What I’m more interested in, is with the “Time-Turners”. Bring those into the game and I will be impressed
Haven't seen anything about those yet.
I and I'm sure many others will choose to learn all of The Unforgivable Curses
It's going to be a lot of fun for sure!
Im really exited for This mode i hope theres a multiplayer mode
Same here! This one is going to be solely focused on single player, but if it's successful then maybe future games may include it.
I wanna be able to spam these curses willy-nilly on anything or anyone. I want this to affect the following stories.
That would be very cool but I have a feeling that it will be limited to certain points.
I just want to be the worst ,bad ass , evil wizard of all time
We are all going to be a Dark Wizard in this game. You know what I mean.
My next question is will we be able to make zombies?
We may be able to get the Inferi to fight for us, it is a possibility.
@@JoshLevelsUp (Necromancer cackling laugh) Sorry couldn't help myself.
We already knew the curses would be in the game. It was obvious when one of the trailers showcased Avada Kedavra...
Well we knew that one would be, but it wasn't confirmed any others would be until the Sebastian trailer.
Can you make Horcruxes tho
Maybe
I very much doubt it, I don't think it would make sense in the plot
@@Nisselak as a side quest could be good like Skyrim where u can find all the masks as your own quest.

I doubt you will. Nothing has been mentioned about them so far.
there has to be a good reason to not learn dark arts as well otherwise theres no reason not to
It'll be fun to see how they change the gameplay!
i thought this game would have online play. i lost half my hype. still wanna play.
No, this game has been single player from the beginning. I think that's good because their focus can be all towards the single player.
