Fishing it for 3 years now on the Dutch en Belgium canals/lakes on carp/bream/roach. Great pole till 11.5mtr for carp. 13mt you have to buy 35 or 55 to react quiqly at f1 carp. For this price the best you can buy 😊 carp package and Benelux package 5p works great!
I absolutely love AT! I’ve been buying it for 40 years off and on. However whenever it comes to reviewing products in the mag or online, you can’t give them any credence at all. Can’t risk upsetting current or future potential advertising revenue.
If your an avid AT reader for 40 odd years then you'll have noticed the lack of on-page advertising these days. Fact is that your ill-informed opinion is 'old hat' and very- wide of the mark. You are though quite entitled to your opinion Johnny- but it simply is not true to say that we/ i are told by advertisers what to say or what to film. Perhaps you'd find a sponsored angler talking, or writing about the tackle he uses more believable than a credible and knowledgeable third party- who has worked in the angling industry for as long as you've been buying Angling Times mate .......just saying!
Mate Mark is a top lad. He advised me on a new pole a couple of years ago as I'd tried a few poles around the 1300 quid mark. He was bang on. Just because they are paid promotions doesn't discount his advice. You Are now aware of a new product you didn't know of before. Hence why its paid

Middy get your shit together and supply kits pre bushed and side pullers fitted .your poles are awesome ,(some of them really are for the money)😊

I have a question. A venue I know where only poles are allowed, has 40 pound carp in it. Can a pole like this handle carp like that? Thanks guys.

I've had a garbolino, whilst they're not bad pole's they aren't cheap and easy to maintain in my experience.
