I’ll say this - I foresaw Lucius turning on us from a mile away. I did not, however, expect Multifarious Lucius. Him taking the forms of the Four Fallen like that surprised me, and I realized, “this is what you used me for…!” I think I just sat for a minute and stared at the new form.
I wouldn't base it on that. I'd probably base it on the fact that some of the similar units, like Griel or Raquel, are genderless. Also, his unit data in JP says he's genderless.
It's actually more complex than that...his trying to maintain balance among the worlds, gods and humans. The player kinda betrays him by saying that they wish to have like freedom from the gods and that's kinda why he wishes to destroy you...
Then Ishgria happened and we had to endure the bigger asshole that is Karna Masta. Then the 3rd arc happen and we have to endure the biggest dicking of all: Feeling nerfed.
I can officially say this song is much better when fighting alza masta. Alza masta a true demi god just as karna masta. Both of them try hards and literally impossible to defeat lol.

Lucius (quest mode) was pretty easy with the units I had, gonna regret fighting them after I finish Trial 7/Ark (worse fight than fighting the she-devil mock unit, Maxwell) Edit: Mock unit Lucius has 3 phases, died on 2nd not even 75%. *I w a n t t o d i e*

Three transformations...this guy is the most toughest boss in the first chapter and his third form theme is actually pretty scary too...

Lucius uses a massive attack at the beginning of phase 2 designed to wipe out squad 1. If you're having trouble bring a second squad.
Or you could have 50% mitigation up with a double Alan/Svalinn lead on squad 1.
Or Gazia but with 50% mitigation for all of the above.
