Idk what you are talking about. Ash obviously goes to the hospital, gets better, buys another plane ticket and lives happily ever after with Eiji. That's how it ended, I swear that's how it ended.....at least in my mind anyway 😭

that's not very important, it's not about ash or eiji, but I really love that part when Sing cries and says he regrets he became a boss. He's just a 14 years old trying to do the right thing. Always makes me tear up.

Within 0.02 seconds of the clip of the letter showing up I had launched my phone across the room fallen onto my hands and knees and strated to silently scream and sob because this show has ruined me, I will never be the same again. I was so invested in there relationship. By the last episode I had genuinely 212% convinced myself that Ash was going to go to Japan and it was going to be a genuinely happy ending but he fucking diedss ajaja please I really cannot.
Anyway a bit after watching the show I saw someone say this and I feel I must tell you all because I cannot live with the knowledge alone, Ash had survived many many gunshot/stabbing wounds but passes away due to one small stab why you may ask? Because he fucking let himself die because he knew eiji was safe and if he lived that means eiji would go back for him anwnamakallalala I'm literally on the floor sobbingy eyes out please helpsnnss
Fun fact: when Eiji was being treated after getting shot, the medication made him temporarily blind so he never actually knew how close Ash was

In the anime it's kinda confirmed he didn't die. There are multiple theories, my english isn't really good enough to explain but if you search in the internet you can find something...
But like, in the second intro you can see Ash walking in the same clothes he wore when Lao stabbed him, but the light's darker then when he was injuried, so the fans thought he was walking to a safe place _after_ the stop in the library.
Sadly, in the manga Ash's death is confirmed :(
