    Really really appreciate this review! I read Sarah Adams’ when in Rome a long time and it was sooo cute but I’m really nervous to read her other ones. It’s really awesome to hear your honest thoughts! Thank you 🥰💛

    Super cute glasses!!! The darker frames compliment your coloring well - I agree. Thank you for reviewing this! I am in the process of making the switch from spicier/secular books to cleaner, lighter books and thanks to your reviews, I have so many great recs!

    Great thoughts sister! Thank you for the honesty! So well needed to give our thoughts in these books

    It's tough when characters have relations and then the romance becomes sexual based instead of depth of emotional connection which makes it lustful not love. Relationships are meant to be deep in all aspects not just the physical.

    Oceana My Dear Friend I think I won't be reading this book 😀 although over 30 chapters of a clean book is not bad 😄 thank you very much for the information when I find a clean book too I will let you know 🥰

    I’m so excited to hear that it’s avoidable in this book. I agree Practice Makes Perfect rode a line of pushing intimacy into the build up so much that it was heavy for me. I am definitely interested in reading this knowing that it’s skippable ❤❤❤ I appreciate your thoughts so much ! This is one of my most anticipated reads this year, I have loved Sarah Adams’s books so I’m so relieved! Thanks Oceana!!! 🩵✨

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Oceana! I’ve only read one of her books, When In Rome, and I really liked it! But, after hearing things about Practice Makes Perfect, like the tone about marriage - I decided one of her books was probably enough for me.

      Fair enough. Yeah I found practice makes perfect really hurtful on topics like marriage and virginity.

    Thank you for warning us about content in books. I'm torn on whether or not I want to try a Sarah Adams book.

    Thank you for your review on this!😊 I totally understood what your were saying about Practice makes Perfect-to me that one was so sexually charged throughout it ruined the storyline 😢

    I had an icky feeling reading Practice Makes Perfect too! Maybe because they kind of end up portraying marriage as an unnecessary/overrated thing by the end? 😅

    Do you feel like enough of the story happens that it could just stop at chapter 33?? Like if I wanted to read up til that point and not finish the rest would it make sense?? 😅

    • @kaya.graceee
      @kaya.graceee 4 месяца назад +1

      Not really 😂
      I also much preferred the first half of the book but there were some sweet moments toward the end too 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

    I’m the same when it comes to language, I don’t cuss but I can’t say the same for my husband and his side of the family 😅 It’s not excessive but just casually thrown in so when I read it in books it doesn’t shock me
    I do draw the line at too much cussing though, I can’t stand when the f word is used excessively especially to describe other characters….yuck…

    Have you read any Lauren Layne books? Some of her romance novels are clean. Central Park Pact Series, "To Sir, with Love" is wonderful.

    Thank you for the review of this book Oceana! I highly value your opinion and really appreciate your honesty when you share the content and your thoughts on books. I think I will be skipping this one and Practice Makes Perfect. I feel like my time would be better spent on other books. 😊✌🏻🩷
