- One of my fave algorithms on the Eventide H9 is the UltraTap. I would love building pedalboards for customers with H9s because it would always be my go to test tone for making sure a stereo rig was working at its best. The only thing I didn’t like was the menu diving on the H9 to really craft a sound, thankfully the partnering app helped.
But now Eventide has released this! The UltraTap stand-alone pedal with all the features from the algorithm easily accessible in seconds from the top of the pedal.

Liking the possibilities of hand expression knobs... 🤔
It’s been done before, but nothing like this that connects straight to the pedal, I have a few expression controllers that are boxes with a big knob but they take up some additional room. These are so handy right on the pedal.

I have two H9's. So i shouldn't even consider this pedal, but your sounds are so good it made me actually really tempted.
Luckily i have juuuuust enough self control to open the app and sate my ultratap hunger with my existing H9's :D

Not to tempt you further, but this standalone version also features a feedback knob, unavailable in the H9.

DIG is lovely but I think I’d choose UltraTap over it, a little more up my alley as far as the feature set.
