Pawning things for drugs is not just an Arkansas thing..I just saw it more there. I saw lines at the pawn shop there. And people would take multiple trips a day to the pawn shop. And people were constantly trying to sell me things in AR. Instead of bringing cash. Please keep in mind this is my own personal experience. Anyway, I hope you guys like this video. Have a great day, and stay safe 🙏🖤

@@carlasuannepoohlockett3259 its when u basicly give something of value to a pawnshop or a person, and you get cash, then after whatever amount of days u agreed to go pay the money back and get your item/items that u pawned back. So in other words a loan. But in the drug world typically u sell anything of value for dirt cheap and u don't get it back. I use to be apart of that world that's why I speak on it.

Raj Sihota OMG that’s amazing ! You can do this it’s the hardest thing you’ll ever do in your life but you can do this and it’s the best time for it The world is literally stopped in California they’re saying 18 months now!! What are you doing please don’t do methadone !!they say Suboxone is better but the WD off that can be even more horrendous than just plain H or oxy whatever RX you were into before... Kratom is natural sure it tastes like dirt literally ground up leave but I’ll take mother nature any day over a big pharma! It really gives you energy and stops the worst of the symptoms!!! Please be safe and let me know if you need anything advice whatever and I’m here for you as others have been for me and similar platforms!!
Jess and a lot of people have had their lives saved because they went to jail/ prison...I was a functional addict good job, nobody knew I didn’t use needles or anything ‘crazy’ I never had a single issue with the police I can talk my way out of anything but it still didn’t mean I wasn’t spending all my money and wasting my future on a substance that I was a slave to...

@@kylacrush6810 yes they can be way worse DTs if you do it wrong. You need to be on them long-term, change your life and mindset. Then you very slowly and medically detox. If you don't do what your supposed to do then ya they'll kick you off dropping you 10mgs every other day and that is not how you get off it! Methadone saved and changed so many lives especially as a last resort. Subs doesn't work for everybody like me they made me feel the worst ever even after waiting 2days to take it! Everybody's different and has diff life situations. Like i got myself on methadone while stuck living in my mom's house who used and sold w/o any supporters. She would force me to get her off bc she couldn't find a vein and would threaten to kick me out...and did too where I slept outside in grass. Nothing prior worked for ME personally. It saved my life! Of course i wouldn't recommend to somebody let's say w/ a supportive stable family living situation where a simple inpatient could work. If all else fails for somebody then I highly recommend it bc its the 1 thing I've seen change and help most addicts many I've known. I got locked up when i was on it for 28days and yes it sucked bc it was long but nowhere as intense as dope..and i was on a high dose too.

You are gonna have to go through some shit but it will not last forever. And it's very important to have someone there with you while you're going through it, for support. Hi Jessica, proud of you and your journey. I've been clean and sober for over thirty years. I've met a lot of people in recovery and many more who spent time in prison because of drugs. The drug epidemic and recovery seem to be today's new normal. When I got out of the Army in 1968, I went on the road as a drummer. Met my wife while on the road (she was beautiful, was an RN, had money, and her brother-in-law was a pharmacist)! We've been married for fifty years. The first ten years were rough because of my drinking, and the other forty years sober. All I can say is keep doing what you're doing, trust God, clean house, work with others, and take it one day at a time. Miracles do happen. Take care.

I grew up and have lived in the same town my whole life. When I was a kid we stayed outside all day long. We'd ride our bikes all over this town with no issues but it has changed so much since then that I won't allow my kids out of my sight for one second even when they're in my fenced in yard. I'm a recovering addict myself so I'm not saying this in a judgemental way but people roam these streets all day and night looking like zombies and stealing whatever they can get their hands on. It's truly sad. Excuse my language but what once was a beautiful little coal town has turned into a crime infested shit hole.

The way you talk about prison and drugs being so bad and dangerous, and how they cause such terrible things is amazing. I would never think that someone who struggled with addiction for 10 years and in and out of prison/jail for years would be so articulate and completely change their life around! To sharing the dangers based on your own knowledge and experiences. Thank you for not glorifying anything or making it seem like drugs are cool and breaking the law is okay and “fun”. I also like how you take responsibility for your actions and admit that what you did was completely not right. It seems like you wouldn’t typically think taking advice from someone with such a criminal record would be a good idea, but this is totally not the case for your channel! I would love to hear your experience and comparison of your first and last time using and how long it took for you to feel normal again while detoxing. I'm in medicated assited treatment which also hasn't always been easy. I can't imagine what you went through. You are a warrior! 💕
Also I was staying with my boyfriend in a hotel once when he was high on meth and he took the entire bedframe apart for no reason. Then another time he started looking for a ten dollar bill at our house that we had lost a month ago, we were supposed to be going to dinner and it took me over two hours to get him out of the house 🤦🏼

kendaldrye I’m on maintenance meds too. I didn’t wanna be originally but I just wasn’t feeling normal or happy at all. They really really help! I’m just scared to ween off bc everyone I talked to said it’s really fucking hard to get off of but they also went to a detox facility where they ween u off in about a week.. which is NOT gonna be my journey lol. Ima do it slow like u said. But definitely do whatever makes u comfortable and do it in ur own time when ur ready! I can’t stand people who say ur not technically sober bc ur on maintenance meds. It’s WAAAYYY better than the alternative. U GO GIRL!!!

Arkansas sounds like TN. Me and my ex husband decided to make meth one time. We had already made it and done it and it wasnt great and he wanted to keep the stuff to make more and I said no but he insisted. So his dumbass was sitting in the car acting crazy doing shots and I told him I'm not staying down here with you the cops are def coming. He said no they're not. They came and arrested him for production to manufacture methamphetamine and then came and talked to me and I thought I had warrants so I gave them my sister's name and social and turned out I didn't have any warrants and I went to jail for identity theft. the cop was an ass and was supposed to charge me with criminal impersonation. But I've been done with all that for a while now and I'm so glad.

I understand where you're coming from. Amusing things happen when people are on drugs. That is one reason it feels so good to be high when you're in addiction. Things can be so hilarious even though it's not a good lifestyle and is not worth the laughs. Those funny moments sure got me through dark times. Learning to laugh and enjoy life sober is much more fulfilling.

I love how you said that, you walked away from that lifestyle but it'll always be a part of you. I'll be 3 years clean from the 2 things you struggled with as well and I find myself talking about it a lot...to where people ask, why do you talk about it so much still? You must want to go back to it blahblah. It's not that I want to go back to that lifestyle because if I did, I would've already. It's because that's how my life was for SO long...I've had more years alive using than not, it's a part of me and I tell people things so they know how messed up it is and what I've been through, you know? It's almost therapeutic for me to get it off my chest and it keeps me in check on how I never want to be again, you know? So I dont think there's anything wrong with talking about such a huge part of your [past] life to anyone. Just a thought:) and wanted to let you know how I totally get it and I know it's helping many of your viewers....and that talking about certain things can be overwhelming at times, taking you back to certain times. It's so important to NOT forget where we came from even if we'd like to. Sorry this is all over the place!

But I started on oxys at 13 graduated to dope at 17 and lost 10 years to it.
