Any city within the top 250 most populated cities in the US should be considered a "big/large city". A population of 150,000 people isn't anywhere near a "small city". Vernon, CA - right next to Los Angeles - is a SMALL city w/ a population of 220 people. Stockton is actually a LARGE city.
