I wished this led to a final secret fight against Elisabeth herself, driven by revenge against killing everyone including her adopted daughter, or something like that. Would've been damn awesome
I hate how they try to guilt you so fucking much. I did this ending because I was sick of all the manipulation. This ending left me feeling like Dracula as the intense music played and I couldn't love it more.
I mean, a bunch of them are murderers or just assholes (like the priest, the serial killer, the gangsters, the abusive mother, etc) but there were several people who didn’t deserve anything bad. Not to mention, not everyone was manipulative. In fact, I’d say we were manipulative, even when we never kill citizens, especially since he we manipulate human minds to force them to speak about things.
Even when she’s want to kill herself , she’s aim her hands to Jonathan in hope he could help her but that fact he’s become a monster , which he never even try to save her..
While I really liked this ending and the thought of Jonathan continuing his adventure in Paris a cool idea. I am though a bit annoyed by the fact that I did only kill people who were murderers and so on and not any of the good or innocent people and never got any district worse than below stable and so forth. I don't feel like that deserves the worst ending. I played Jonathan to be a righteous person who only fed on the people who deserved to die while keeping the rest healthy. I doesn't seem fit with an ending where he just goes about murdering everyone without care. Maybe they could have weighed in more so what people you killed instead of just the amount and also what status the districts ended up in? Anyway good game!

Also fed on the Swanborough and her brother in west chapel because I felt like they were thieves in a way. I did kill 2 or 3 innocent for very petty reasons so I’m not too surprised I had a bad ending but felt like I should have had the 1st bad ending
To me, the point of the game giving you the worst ending even if you killed people who 'deserved' it was to ask - "Who are you to decide who gets to live and die?" It's interesting to hear what people think are the 'right' and 'wrong' people to kill. While there are some seemingly obvious choices, like that greedy Landlord and the gang members, I've seen people in RUclips comment sections or on the subreddit confident they did the right thing in killing those people as well as the prostitute character or the gay couple, choices that I disagree with for being the people that deserve to die. But, I agree that the game should have done some more editing with this ending, particularly because it seems unfair that you and I got the same ending when I killed everyone including Elizabeth's daughter! How is she not more pissed about that??

For example, it was mentioned several times that Seymour would have been executed if his crimes were ever exposed. So even the law would have killed him. With that in mind, just killing him yourself seems like the best choice because that would immediately stop the murders and also make Jonathan more powerful, which is a bonus. Gaining power might seem selfish, but considering the fact that we were dealing with rabid vampires and had to stop a plague caused by a goddess, it seems necessary. If the correct choice is the Death Penalty anyway, then it doesn’t matter in my opinion. It stops the bad guys faster. Of course, what I just said applies only for when we kill criminals. Killing innocent people is just bad no matter what.

Giving this game another few clears since its on ps now and this game is such a gem. Can't wait for the tv series and the inevitable second installment. This was definitely the best ending in my opinion since I cant stand the whole "reject what we are for what we want to be" mentality thats so blown out over sp many vampire cliche movie scripts.

The only thing that would have made this better is if after you arrive sir William goes “Elizabeth, a blood soaked, battle worn, son of the anti christ is approaching” and you get to see him get up and grab his sword while yelling “it’s been so long since I’ve eaten from the neck of the unworthy” lady ashbury going “you can’t, don’t hurt Johnny” and our character going “I am death, I can’t be killed by such a weak man” activating the hardest fight in the game. Once you defeat him he falls back to his chair…. The rest of the scene. Bad ending only.
The best ending just did not feel deserved because all we did was maintain the status quo...we did not change anything...we kept serial killers, greedy shits and all manner of vile folk alive so they could keep exploiting the district for their own selfish ends...in fact, it felt like the good ending was selfish in a way...
Plus Elisabeth just escapes the consequences of her actions. Sure she was sick when she was blackwood but I don't feel she really tries to redeem herself. She left a powerful dangerous unstable progeny by himself full of blood of hate and she doesn't do anything for stopping him. Jacob blackwood could start the disaster by himself if he turn a woman. I fucked up and wanted to beat the last boss so I ate a bit to many people in the rich district and it messed up. I got this ending and wasn’t mad about it. Elizabeth wasn’t even angry at me, my painting was in her room.
I got half way through trying to save everyone, it was so boring so I killed everyone. But you can't go half way through as good then switch to bad because I got to end level 30 in blood Avatar just wreaked me.
I'd be bored if I killed everyone in the village lol so I decided to keep them alive, treat them from time to time and it was a fun game for me. I work more like a crusader than a vampyr. 😁 😂
