Making a talkie movie for the Singin' in the Rain musical BW film. Weymouth, Portland

The show was directed and choreographed by Julie Storey. The transition from silent to talkie movies in the 1920s was fraught with problems. This shows attempts to overcome the early failures. 1. A corny black and white movie; 2. The first (disastrous) talkie; 3 Bloopers and outtakes. Films made for Weymouth Operatic Society's acclaimed production of the musical "Singin' in the Rain", at Weymouth Pavilion in 2007.
