K's hilarious. he should start a competing vlog.. also lmao at kay talking about everything you just saw (which was an LS-9) being obsolete in a year. ahahahaha
I'd actually sit here and listen to Kay talking about the industry and his views on gear (investments, rentals...) for probably hours. Aside from that, what's the console that no matter what, covid or not, goes out the most? Would you have invested in different consoles knowing what was coming? I know people who managed to stop an order for a 338 just in time, or companies who are living on rental of SQ5 and X32s around the city. If you guys have any views on that it would be great to hear about it.
I would say that the console thats gone out the most the last few years, not surprisingly is the x32 . Also, the x32 rack for a lot of the easier, no frills corporate jobs we'd do frequently. The big boy Digicos only go out on the rider/bigger jobs and rentals, which there was hardly any in 2020.
I also found a picture from our console fleet from 2015 and it looked alot different. Avid Profile and an sC48 as the big boys. 3 Midas Pro 2s, X32s and M32s.
@@michaelkurczeski1373 Yeah I've had too many arguments with KT sellers who told me their branded cat5 was perfect for the X32 and yet it somehow failed on me three times in a summer. Have you guys ever thought about getting an Allen & Heath console? I don't know how much requirement is in the US for those but in UK and Europe their line of products is growing strong
@@edoardoallertsen I’ve had Allen and Heath consoles before and i don’t dislike them. But they aren’t really in demand here. Basically...once I start to see a brand of console more and more on riders that come my way, I’ll make the move to get it. I also have alot of jobs that we can bring whatever we want, and if the job is easy, and i don’t want to overly complicate it, I’ll send x32. If the job is higher end and I can still send whatever I want, it’s Yamaha CL5 for many reasons, but mainly reliability.
people gonna hate... but this was the best shop tour ever...
Best shop tour eeever.
The Stinkbugs NEEDS to happen :D
the stinkbums....bahahahhahaha
I enjoyed the sheep tour ted🤙🤙
Thanks Blake We'll eventually do more in-depth stuff with certain sections. But for now it was this haha.

I have no investment in those ls9’s. The waves card for the cl5 cost more. My rant is directed at the consoles in the tens of thousands price range
Sell the Wing - no more wing videos - cl5 or ls9 videos are
Much cooler. 😎🤙
👏👏
I want to see Kay or grunnie run an entire show on the Barringer wing lol
Kay throwing shade, ouch 😭

X32. It does the job and it’s cheap. Only problem is unreliable digital snake
