Fitting the DARCO Posterior Splint Fix foot positioning orthosis with bandages

The DARCO Posterior Splint Fix positioning splint is used as a post- and pre-operative positioning splint, for immobilisation after accidents and post-traumatic immobilisation. The three elasticated and freely positionable hook and loop fasteners optimally fix the foot in the orthosis.
The handling is extremely simple and time-saving. After the surgical wound has been dressed, the positioning splint is applied and fixed in place using the three webbing straps with hook and loop fasteners. This eliminates the need for tedious and time-consuming plastering or warming and modelling of a splint and significantly reduces the cost-intensive operating time! If desired, the DARCO Posterior Splint Fix foot positioning orthosis can also be used without the prefabricated straps and applied securely to the leg using a bandage.
