VERY helpful! I am 10 years old, LOVE anime, especially Haruhi, and this has been very hard for me to do, since it is so fast. I am learning this because I am going to an anime convention cosplaying Haruhi, my friend as Yuki, and my OTHER friend as Mikuru. We are having SO much fun practicing this, as we show lots of people and perform on the street for people. So, thanks again for making this video, as it helps my friends and me so very much. :)

this dance was filmed backwards aka it has a mirror effect, so if you're doing the dance right you should be doing the same hand as haruhi the whole time. which means usually facing the other direction or having your computer facing a mirror. :) I love this dance.

@catoosie You follow the video, if she point her arm out on way, you mkae sure your arm is on the same side... because in the normal way you'd have to switch you're arms, because she facing toward you not opposite
Look, the mirrored/backwards version is to make the dance be from the point of view that's in the orignal way. So you won't do it the wrong way if you ever post a video or whatever. If you learn it the original way, you'll do it backwards. Get it? If not, Go Google It.
@rainnydays13 I think they flipped the image so it'd be like you practicing in front of a mirror the orginial is if the girls are dancing on stage so theyd be facing you this is reversed so you step/move in the right direction....i think

I actually kind of like this slow version. If redid, could be very soulful and beautiful. not sure if the dance would work the same... Also kind of helps out with pronouncing the words.
@seacat243 If you copy the normal dance, when you do the dance it will appear the wrong way round so you have to watch it mirrored so you can get the moves the right way round.
lol i did it en 1 week, in another week it'll be perfect in my head! but okay, i have dancing lezzons since i was 6, so i hev a bit more training with keeping those dances in your head!
after watching haruhi in broadcast and cronological order, and then a couple more times, then wathing this some 10 times, i've barely noticed how hillarious the sun is in the background

Ok so things I cant do well are hand motion 1, going from the Mikuru part to the sidesteps, and going from the finger twirl to Hand Motion 4.
