I really believe that resettlement is one of the most significant historical events in the lives of our people in this province. I don't mean to say it was all bad experiences because we know that was not the case. It was nevertheless the most wrenching emotional experience particularly for your parents' and my parents' generation. It still gets me extremely emotional to talk about it .
Kirk -Thanks for the comment. Yes there's no doubt that was an emotional time for all who were part of it --leaving home is always sad but leaving with no hope of ever coming back is a different ball game altogether.
