Sehr gut gemachter Film!
Es ist schon in Deutschland schwer sich zum traditionellen Glauben zu bekennen und zur Piusbruderschaft, wieviel schwerer in Moskau, daher ist es ein Werk der göttlichen Vorsehung.

My name is Victor Pasichnik, I was born and raised in Russia, Moscow. It wasn't easy for my parents to go to church, because you could lose your work. But they accomplished my baptizing in the Orthodox Church. I was determined that the orthodox church is the true church, the true church of christ. At some point I realized that the catholic church has the true dogmas, that the Orthodox Church is wrong. Later on though, I realized that something is wrong, that liturgy in the modern church. I suffered under the circumstances which were present there. I didn't knew that in Vatican II they made that many changes, compared to the rites of the East in Orthodoxy, which were more or less preserved. I thought, the tradition of the west is the same, unchanged and kept, how it always has been. Of course I then started to study the new mass, but also the traditional mass, and how this changes occured. That's also how I found the website of the SSPX in the internet.

It is regrettable that this young priest was ordained in an uncanonical Society, while he could have become a priest in the Russian Greek Catholic Church (being born Russian Orthodox).
@Magnat "Any Latin rite missionary, whether of the secular or religious clergy, who induces with his advice or assistance any Eastern rite faithful to transfer to the Latin rite, will be deposed and excluded from his benefice in addition to the ipso facto suspension a divinis and other punishments that he will incur as imposed in the aforesaid Constitution Demandatam." (Leo XIII, Orientalium Dignitas).
So I truly hope he made this choice himself, without being forced by anyone. And even then, this is not the better choice. An Easterner can and should stay an Easterner when becoming Catholic
@Magnat Crisis ? Which crisis compels people who want to become priests to join the SSPX ? Moreoever, as I said, an Eastern Christian who becomes a Catholic not only has the right but the duty to remain faithful to his Eastern tradition.
@Magnat There is indeed a Faith crisis, which can be solved in other ways than adhesion to the SSPX plain and simple. And a Catholic is to remain faithful to the rite in which he was born, (except in exceptional cases). An Easterner is to become a Catholic ; he is not to become a Westerner. Pope Leo XIII was very clear on that.
@Magnat Just about every Catholic community, faithful to the Magisterium of the Church and to it's doctrine.
@Magnat Anyway, that wasn't my point : the point is an Eastern Christian shouldn't become a Westerner, except in very exceptional cases, as Pope Leo XIII said. The Byzantine rite is as Catholic a tradition as the Roman one.
