Really looking forward to how Visions of Mana turns out. Probably the most anticipated game of this year for me

As someone who only plays rpgs, I am definitely looking forward to visions of mana and DQ 1 - 3 remake

KH4 has me very excited! Mainly because it’s the start of a new saga!
I really hope visions of mana comes to switch 2, loved what they did for trials, even as a small budget project, this one looks like it was invested for more in it.
The problem with the Tales of series is it's publisher Bandai Namco. They are known for mishandling their franchises in favor of pursuing anime games in the past decade. Heck one of their best anime game developers CyberConnect2 used to be known for their .hack and Little Tail Bronx series, but Bandai basically stopped supporting those and had them make only Naruto and DBZ games for a good decade. Thankfully they have started self publishing their games recently and have started with a spiritual successor to their Little Tail Bronx series with Fuga, I'm hoping they do the same for .hack someday in the near future.
I don't think the Tales of series is dying yet, but we are kind of seeing similar signs to what happened to .hack in that they've been pushing for mobile games and having them get shut down a couple years after they launch and the gap between new releases is getting longer and longer. Arise did really well, but if the next game underperforms I can see Bandai considering giving up on the series in favor of more DBZ games. Unlike CyberConnect2 who's a partner developer who works with other publishers and self publishes the Tales studio is completely integrated into Bandai, so it's not like they can break off and do their own thing on the side.
If they want to get more attention for the series they need to get the Xillia games and Graces F on modern consoles inbetween new releases for the series. They could also benefit from smaller indie to AA Tales of games coming out as well. I really hope that Bandai doesn't eventually turn this studio into another anime game studio, but I unfortunately can see that happening if they think a Tales of Naruto game will make them more money. With Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 selling 12 million units to Arise's 3 million that's a possibility. Heck I think there's a reincarnated as a slime game coming out that's a Tales of Clone from Bandai so that's a very scary possibility for this studio.
Square might want to delay visions of mana
I highly doubt PS fans will show up for this game. Xbox fans definitely not checking for this game
I think PS will have okay sales. Xbox will be nonexistent
I would love to see Visions of Mana sell 2-3 million copies. I think it would sell more if they put it on the Switch 2.
no chance it's selling that many, trials sold 1 mil and that was with switch, switch 2 is coming out 1 year from when these games release. I think it sells less than trials early on then maybe like 1.5 when switch 2 comes out

As a Tales fan, it’s just the same old story. They always say they’re doing stuff, but then their big release is a half-assed Symphonia remaster. They’ll release a new survey asking about ports, everyone will say remaster Abyss and port the Xillia games, and then they’ll never do it.

I’ve been enjoying Splatoon 3 very much, even though it’s not a massive leap from 2 - still an awesome and worthy follow-up, to me.
Cannot wait to see what’s next with the franchise (a fourth game or a spin-off).
I personally am not a fan of Splatoon games coming out every 2-3 years when the lifecycle of each game hasnt been over or used up really hasn't. It gets priority over other games supposed to be coming out too. I liked Splatoon 1, it was very fun and the story mode was solid. But I wasn't down to spend another $120 on the series just 3 years later from when i stopped playing.
Oj you are confirming quite a lot of games for switch 2 without actual confirmation that they are coming to switch 2.
Only Tales game I’ve played is Abyss on the 3DS, but I absolutely loved it.

As a fan of for some of the Tales games, hope they are able to develop a new game that could be something new and may link with all or some of the past games. Also, as for Kingdom Hearts, hope they do try to get the game fully developed, since most of us, want to see what this game contains and connect to on the Master of Master.
Since most of us may lost interest on the franchise.
I'll be waiting for the inevitable Switch 2 version of Visions of Mana.
Of course Splatoon 4 is in development, even if it's mostly brainstorming. Or something Splatoon-related, like a spin-off. Really, quoting Midori for the most Duh information out there is getting tiring. They don't really say anything of worth.
I really want to know how they know codenames, but apparently nothing else besides that. Who'd you have to be or know to have that kind of information?
With Splatoon creators talking about connection issues, It's never made sense to me. They are always complaining how bad connection can be. I've now played a decent amount in EU and NA East servers, no significant issues. I would guess if their internet is otherwise good, maybe specific ISPs work better for Splatoon for some reason.

Splatoon 3 didn't start development until after octo expansion concluded since you don't need a full team to telegraph splatfest so I'm sure they have brainstorm some ideas but Splatoon 3 has enough content just Nintendo is dumb when presenting that to the causal audience. Realistically we're a few years off before a new iteration in the series imo is reveal

Considering how there are some rabid Kingdom Hearts fans out there (See the Quinton Flynn situation), Keighley's treading on some dangerous ground there.
Anecdotal but I got harassed by some of them for merely predicting that SNK would have a character in Smash before Sora gets in during Fighter Pass 1 Roster Speculation days.
