I love the Besy choir but I am surprised that they comprise so many singers. The Bible Society seems very strong in N E India and so should be as they say Mizoram State is 90% Evangelical. Like me. many people say they cannot understand the language but love the singing and become staunch supporters of the various choirs of all denominations.

I think the language is Mizo. They are all from the State of Mizoram which is predominantly Evangelical. Their forefathers were Head hunters who were converted to Christianity by American and UK Missionaries. They have been faithful to the gospel message as preached to them and God has blessed them with great musical talent.
