Ikr.... we do not have discount grocery stores where I live at all. I wish, wish, wish sharp shopper would come to Texas. We have a super Walmart(no thank you), an HEB and a Brookshire Bros and that's it. In a town of 100,000 in a county of about 200,000, you would think we could have some sort of affordable grocery. Nearest Aldi is over 100 miles away.
@Nikki B The best Canada has is No Frills which has the occasional deal but it's really the same price as everywhere else.
Sometimes liquidation stores will have some cheap non perishables and a whole lot of junk food for cheap...nothing fresh. Even our farmers markets in the spring/summer are more expensive than the grocery store so honestly...what's the point?
Groceries here are absolutely outrageous.
@Nikki B where I live down in South Texas we have no Aldi’s down here. The nearest one is over 5 hours away. I rarely shop at Walmart but HEB I can find some deals sometimes. But I wish we had a Sharp Shopper down here!
Tip on the solar lights: they come in handy if you lose power...bring them inside for extra light!

With the solar lights I’ve seen online but have not tried… people have painted either rocks, stone in pathways or even flower pots with glow in the dark paint. During the day they “charge” from being outside in the light and at night glow. Again never tried it but it looks cool, it make work and save you from buying the lights each year and could be a fun homeschool project for the kids.

Wish we had a Costco and Sharp Shopper. You get the best deals. Got my back surgery done Friday. They said I'd have to do nothing for 4 wks and take it easy for 4 months. God willing I'll be back on the mend and ready for canning season. Yee haw. Jamerrill which kid loves to cook the most? I used to help mom all the time. I seen a huge chicken coop not counting the little house which you could make from scratch for $99.00. it was 80 or 86×40ft. It was rust resistant. God bless you all. 💙🙏💙

Big batch cooking coming. YAY! We are a family of two but I still love to watch you make half a dozen meals at one time.
I am a family of 2. I make some of the meals and freeze them 2 serving packs. I love it they are my fast meals. I am down to only chicken nuggets for that fast meals.
Wishing this was available when we were growing up but my mom kept the family full we were 9 and my moms next door neighbors were 19 kids when I grew up the family’s were large but we made it everything was home grown and homemade and we never knew we barely had God is great all the time Amen

The grilled eggplant at sharp shopper is so good! I layer it frozen with pasta sauce and ricotta between the layers, cheese on top and bake. I do low carb and this hits the spot! One bag is enough for a 9x12 pan. I sometimes cook hot italian sausage and put that in between the two layers of eggplant.

Jamerrill I got Sam's solar lights. I got three sets (4) they were 25. I don't know if Costco's are comparable but I checked yesterday fully expecting some to be out of order but they all were working fine! And they are heavy glass that cast really pretty shadows. If you have Sam's I highly recommend them.Oh ps cotton candy grapes are only green candy hearts are always red anything labeled candy are geared for the kids because they are sweeter. Always look for green stems that means the grapes are not dehydrated and old. I work in produce so there's that. Take Care.
My dad finally got on the Brussel sprout train with me I'm so excited. I have loved them for years and he finally tried my lemon pepper roasted Brussels and now he has been buying them on his own.
Perfect the boys were so excited they wore their t-shirts already. I love to see boys loving clothing.
I live in southwest Virginia. I stopped at the sharp shoppers in Harrisonburg and waynesboro once on my way back from Baltimore. I loved the prices. I wish I lived closer.
You would have been so proud of my grocery deal the other day! I sure was, myself! I got those bone in spiral sliced hams for $.50 per lb at my Walmart!! I couldn’t believe it! My Costco had them for $2.29/lb and my grocery store had them for $1.57/lb
That's a great deal! I don't know why people pay 9.99/lb at the deli for sliced ham when you can buy literally 20 lbs of bone in ham for the price of 1.
The Costco hams are my favorite though- the quality is different (it honestly tastes like smoked pork at a BBQ joint, very very very good, different than a processed storebought ham) it's worth the 2.29/lb
We are going to PA next month, and this is on my to-do list before going home. Sharp Shopper, I can't wait. We are from Niagara, Ontario, Canada. We don't have stores like this. I'm heading to the Amish, so I'm so excited for some of those stores as well. Thanks for sharing!!

I have subrscribed a long time. Watching from Sweden. Interesting see a different life from mine. I´m ill but if I weren't I would cook and preserve etc just like you. I like your style and your outlook on life and I love your oneliners that make me smile.. I often fall asleep listening to your long films, and pl it is not because I am bored, it is just because of your calming voice. I then wtach them over all again all awake 😉I have to say, you get just more cute every year and you seem so much more at ease and relaxed in being you. I am so happy to get older, have you come to that same conclusion? Easier knowing what´s important and I have learned to not give a * about some things and that is so freeing.

Hi from Australia, I am 68, I do alot of baking for my 4 youngest grandchildren and my daughter and partner. I love cooking and baking, where I live doesn't have Cosco, or places like Sharp shoppers so generally it hard to get good prices on items..thank you for sharing your content.

We do! He showed up at our house as a kitten, back when we lived in our hundred year old farmhouse. He was so sweet and loving that I found myself saying, “we need to find a really friendly name for this kitten.” And from there we decided to name him Friendly.

If your husband is like mine , He'll mow over your solar lights... My husband does it every time I buy solar lights to light the sidewalk or go around the in ground pool. So I stopped buying them.

I live in Ocala, Fl. Wish we had one of these stores. The Big Mouth pizza you showed is$6.99 at Walmart and at Publix they’re $10:99. I believe you said $3.99 for this loaded pizza. They are delicious 😊

I love shopping with you, but those prices at Sharp Shopper HURT! I live in South Georgia and we have nothing even close to that type store!! The yogurt that was 3/$1 in my store are $1.50 EACH. Enjoy!!

I wish we had this store in NH. I would shop till I dropped! at 65 this would stretch out my food for long time. wish I could afford to come down there to shop but cost to much.
Some solar lights may only need a battery replaced. Many solar items can be saved replacing the battery they have. Its a special battery.
My problem is more that through the winter my lights get bumped around a lot. I guess with the leaves and the storms in the weather. I might need to pull them out of the ground at the end of fall or some thing. By the time things shake out and it’s spring I have many lights that have fallen apart. I love them though!
