They will likely tour the US again in 2025 or 2026. Don't miss them. I saw many of the greatest classic bands (purple, zeppelin, queen, sabbath, santana, jeff beck) in their prime, and a Band-maid show stands with any of those,
Kanami’s guitar do the singing 🔥❤️ This song is masterpiece 🔥❤️ Just two days ago PRS announced about Kanami’s Signature Model guitar, as a first Japanese artist. This humble genius really deserved it. Hope she get noticed better now here in Western World. Most impressive musician of the 21st Century 🔥❤️ Lovin’ Band-Maid 🔥❤️
Kanami composes all the orchestral and piano parts for their song intros etc. and has just received her Signature Guitar from Paul Reed Smith himself, which looks fantastic.
@@grahamreed8774 I was actually watching a video of her this morning talking about it in detail on why she chose the specific parts and how much it meant to her❤️🤘🔥 well deserved
Many of us saw Band-Maid play “From Now On” live. OMNG! Kanami riffed her ass off. The DB’s matched the BPM’s! So FROM NOW ON, Band-Maid will grow in popularity even faster as their awesome, sold out 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR wrapped up at Japan’s 17,000 seat Yokohama Arena on Nov. 26 and at Hong Kong. AND they dropped their new album, Epic Narratives, Sept. 25. Order now! The Maids are one of the hardest working supergroups in the business! Their music, their sound, each of the Maids... and the love that permeates their live events is an experience not to be missed. Hope you can catch them LIVE! Thx, V-Sol!
Mincho became the 1st Japanese person to ever get a signature guitar from PRS. In a special event Paul Reed Smith personally presented it to her. All the Maids were in attendance, it was very emotional.
Instrumental excellence by design! "Without Holding Back" is another example of this. A cool comparison of with and without lyrics is "Giovanni",great both ways, but Kanami will blow your mind in the instrumental version!
You might be ready for Ohrenjes Band-maid documentaries. Ohrenje did a series of very professional documentaries on each member of the band. Each is around 30 mins in length. One for each member, except Miku who gets three (she is the heart and soul of the band and a complicated little pigeon). Best viewed in order - they start with Saiki. All on Ohrenje's YT channel. The back story of the band is quite incredible in itself, which is revealed in the series. We will watch them with you, they are epic!
Thank you for always reacting favorably to BAND-MAID. You probably started watching them because you thought, "Hmmm, the maid outfits are cute," or "Oh, they can play instruments." However, by the time you get to this song, most reactors will be completely crushed by its powerful attack. They have been working on music sincerely for over 10 years. So even if vocalist Saiki is not there, BAND-MAID will function 100%. There are a few other instrumental songs. And you will realize that each one of them has outstanding destructive power. I hope you will continue to enjoy BAND-MAID's journey "from now on".😊
Great vid. Yeah this was the song I 'discovered' BM when I went searching, when I heard my other fav band, The Warning, was doing a show with them in Japan. I was like - what's that about? And found FNO, and haven't looked back.
Great reaction and this song is the opening track on their album "Unleash", the coming out of the pandemic lockdown album and they really unleash on us. Also, "HATE?" is also on this album as is "Unleash (a video also)", 'I'll", "Influencer (a video also)", Balance, "Sense (a video also)", "Corallium", All of these songs are worthy of a reaction. Thanks for continuing to react to Band-Maid.
If you check out one of their older ones called start over kanami starts the song playing the piano in the video. Someone else mentioned that she composes the songs on piano
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this song performed live five times with this MV quality in Japan and dropped my jaw five times 😲. This song has been normally played in the middle of the setlist to give Saiki, lead vocalist, some break. They played this song, however, as opening at festivals and in Guns N' Roses concert in Japan as support to the legendary band. Yeah! they showed off their skills and talents to the audience who knew nothing about the girls in maid outfit on the stage. I felt as if I heard them screaming "Hey guys! Listen to us and open your eyes wide! We are not the persons that you think ! Salute us!" 😄
Saiki had throat surgery in 2017 to remove polyps. Since then she takes a singing break in the middle of shows. The break will include Miku singing lead on a song, the band doing an instramenal and Miku doing her magic spell time. 😏❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘
Yep, this is a four minute plus guitar concerto from Kanami. They have several instrumental pieces, but the guitar line in this one is by far the most lyrical. If you want jam sessions, some of the other instrumentals are far more jammy than this one (and that's not even getting into the white room instrumentals on the instrumental maid channel where they just pull the lyrics out and play the songs that normally have vocals sans said vocals). There are depths here that haven't even been hinted at to you yet...
Saiki the lead singer has had throat surgery in the past so the band are very careful with her voice. They play 2+ hour sets so to give Saiki a break around mid-set they do three things. 1. Play an instrumental, 2. Miku (rhythm guitar) takes lead vocals for a song or two (she usually has one track per album where she is lead vocalist) and 3. Miku will do her legendary and hilarious "Magic Time" MC set. Then Saiki comes back on to finish the set. Even though Saiki no longer needs a break nowadays, it's become more of a tradition. So yeah, they have a number of really cool instrumental tracks. Check out the live MV of "Onset" for another instrumental banger!
Not a jam session; an amazing composition by KANAMI. Here’s a live version of From Now On, from San Francisco, October 2022 - ruclips.net/video/QrkLbzMVPX4/видео.htmlsi=nokFwYneyhY1VWVU
At this point, I think the only thing left to do is pack a toothbrush, a passport, and a change of clothes, and hop on a plane to Japan. May the heavens bless you!❤️
Mika is actually one of Miku’s names. It’s probably her real name even. (Mika Noguchi) It’ll be easier to recognize her from the new iteration of the Maid outfits as Kanami deviated from the black & white. Hmmm, Miku is always on the left from the viewer’s standpoint (even speaker-wise she’s in the left ear) but, yes, she’s Stage Right, next to MISA.
Any keyboard sound you hear in a Band-Maid song is probably Kanami. She started playing piano at 3 or 4 years old. She only picked up guitar in high school. Prior to joining Band-Maid, she learned audio programing so she could be her own one man band. The demos of new songs she gives to MISA, Akane, and Miku are pretty much complete songs, bass, drum and guitar parts, just without lyrics (there is a vocal melody though). MISA and Akane just expand on what Kanami has recorded, using the mastery of their instruments to make their parts even more awesome.
@@evilducks3710 it's weird because there are some songs were I feel " ok this might take away from the song" but others I am like" man this needs to be talked about regardless" 😂
When Saiki is taking break Kanami's guitar is becoming a lead singer!!! Thanks for your reaction.
