Background Info:
This aoe2 lords of the west build order is a variation of the Cicero fast castle in to unique unit build order but with one less villager and a few small alterations. This Full Missionary play aims to get out monks and Missionaries as fast as possible while having a castle to break into your opponents base (and get the unique tec) which gives Missionaries +1 range and faster conversions. Spanish are obviously the best for this as other civs dont get Full Missionaries but spanish also have a great fast castle constructing speed (+40%)
There are lots of other aoe2 fast castle build orders on the channel that including FC unique units, fast castle eagles, fast castle boom and siege tower hop into castle drop. Fast castle strategies on arena into some kind of aggression is probably my favorite type of arena strategy

Full Missionary Strategy:
This Full Missionary play aims to get out monks and Missionaries as fast as possible while having a castle to break into your opponents base (and get the unique tec) which gives Missionaries +1 range and faster conversions.
Full Missionary build order:
*6 food
*4 wood
*Rest food
*25 Pop Up
*market black smith
*1 Vill + loom
*click up to castle
*Move 10 to stone
*rest wood / gold
*7-8 forward to construct castle
*when you have 650 stone move stone vills to gold and wood
*2-3 monasteries 1 monk to get relics
*Make tons of donkies (Full Missionary)

The best reaction to a TC drop is no reaction just keep making Vills l don’t know why so many people have a hard time doing that. I really don’t see the point of going Feudal Age on Arena he could have been 50 pop by the time you dropped 3rd TC lmao
Well you have the AOE2 pros saying that the best response is to counter attack with archers as soon as possible. It is understandable that people will believe the pros. It is a decent response if you have the right skills for it.
How do you keep making villagers with no TC?
@@xtriggermortisx7881 you make your #1 priority to ensure you have 275 wood so you can begin construction immediately upon losing your TC

@@PoopLord Fair enough. I was trolling you a bit here as you were playing my friend here and he told me he beat you the second time :p. But I guess that makes sense with your strats, they work if they are unexpected

They think it doesn’t matter or they are to slow if they repair I drop a tc on the gate
What was his elo? Because he really played it poorly, I mean he could have done so much to avoid this (repair gate, repair tc, better vil fight, etc)

Interestingly, experience with TC drop defense doesn't really scale with ELO. You have a lesser chance of getting TC dropped as your ELO gets higher.
@@yahm0n yeah, but my point was more of how passive he was. I could see how an initial surprise might harm reaction, but the complete lack of *any* reaction is what surprised me. This is also why I think it is nice that people do these shenanigans with higher elo players because it goes to show that many of these guys aren't really good at strategies, reacting and adapting, they just have good build orders and meta builds that give good results.
