So the manga was started in around 2014 by a single woman, Ryoko Kui, it ended in 2023. She authored and illustrated the whole thing. People joked she ended it so she could start playing Baldurs Gate 3 lol. She really seems to love western fantasy, Pathfinder, dungeons and Dragons, lord of the rings, ect. So this world is the imagination of this one woman. Very talented artist, very talented writer.
If i remember correctly golems are made from dirt and earth, a magic word [hebrew word for 'life'], and finally the bonemeal and ashes of a deceased human.... thats the 1%

Senshi can be Seen in the credits with another three party members... I am betting the Earth golems are their graves. And he stayed in the dungeon to do honor them.
considering that the golem names mean "first son", "second son", and "third son", and the fact that senshi can't be seen in the credits with another 3 party members, and that i've read the rest of the manga, i don't think that's true

definitely not, senshi mentions how there were ten golems, and that they were here before him. even if he's adopted them as sons, it wouldn't make sense if they were his previous party. i also don't know why the anime would change this. his backstory isn't at all in need of a change.@@johannesbowers7467

Japan hands down. South Korea would probably be a close second. I also am not sure it was yucca you are talking about, as far as white roots go my mind immediately goes to daikon but that's a radish and you said it was closer to potatoes so that makes me think that it was taro root.

I went to Italy last year. My family and I took a cooking class and it was the best pasta I've ever had in my life!!
Yucca! God. theyre freaking delicious lol. IMO, theyre best as a substitute for fries for their specific texture
