Thank you so much! I use the shape tools a lot to make basic shapes, and trace clipart from google then use the warp tool to make them my own. But. This video has given me the confidence to try to make my own shapes and images for whatever I need! (Even though it's a lot of extra work lol ) Thank you!

Wow, thank you. I am debating getting SS . I currently use Design Space (and still need to to cut) and Scal (beginner!). I really like the control of some things in SS and others are more straightforward in DS however I am so excited to try out recreating this video. It really showed what can be done with editing the shapes 👍😄. Edited: I have followed the video and have managed to do similar in Scal and have done a bee in SS too. You have no idea how happy and accomplished I am feeling atm, thank you. I even gave him a little smile by editing nodes 😄

Hi Tracey! That's fantastic!!! I'm glad you found the tutorial helpful and that you were able to do something similar in other software. Thanks for the nice comment!

Hi Geoff! Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing! Do you need to know how to draw the house shape, how to make it the correct size, or how to create a Print & Cut?

Hi Megan! I've got a separate video on how to use the drawing tools in Silhouette Studio. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/a9Un-aMUdp0/видео.html. I will add that to the description for this video!

How did you box 2 objects? I didn't know you could do that

Yes, you can select multiple items and there are a couple of different ways to do it! The first is to "click and drag" - position your mouse above and to the left of the top object, hold down the mouse button and drag diagonally until you've grabbed all the items you want to select, then release the mouse button. The second is the "SHIFT-Click" method. Use your mouse to click on the first item, hold down the SHIFT key and continue clicking on each item you want to select. No matter which method you choose, you will either see one single bounding box around all the selected items or multiple bounding boxes (one for each item), depending on how your software preferences are set. Hope this helps!
