Good reaction. This is a song that definitely leans a long way towards the pop end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale. This did have the studio audio, the live version with the Kami Band has the instrumentals more noticeable and at least a bit harder. The Kami Band were playing at this show of course, but they were on one of the stages at either end of the runway that cut through the middle of the arena and where the girls spent most of the time on a couple of moving stages that would also rise and fall as they like to get as close to the audience as they possibly can. All of this new album ('The Other One') is so good - every song well worth a reaction if you haven't heard them yet as well. Of the singles they released I would say my own favourite was 'Monochrome' and the lyric video is excellent, but they also did a stripped down piano version on The First Take which is stunning - and if you want to really hear Su and Moa ... that's the place to go (after watching the official lyric video). Momoko was the third girl in this video - she was still an Avenger in the shows in January where this was filmed of course. She finally became an official member and performed as Momometal at the concert they performed about 12 hours ago as I'm typing this.
The more I listen to the album, and after hearing a few of the new songs live, I have grown greatly into their new direction. I can not wait to hear what they come up with next.
I absolutely love the sound of all their new music! They are all grown up now and their music is growing up too, which is just awesome. Don't get me wrong, I still love all the older cool heavy cute metal styles they've done too. But this new sound is just so fitting and just sounds great!
Nice reaction, thanks and welcome back, it's been a while! I see you already know what it's needed to know. And I agree, 2018 was really tough for many reasons: Yui wasn't there, Mikio passed away and the duo formation didn't work. Not to mention the fact that some fans didn't took it well. But they finally realized that the triangle formation was the key, so they returned to it in late 2018 in Singapore and Australia adding Saya Hirai as the third member for that tour. Later in mid 2019 they implemented the Avenger system which is officially over now. "LAD" (the acronym is official haha...) is way outside my alley musically but the song grew on me after a few listens and ended up hitting me emotionally (I need to feel it). The live version is 100 times better (this mv has the studio version of the audio) with the kami band and Su's amazing live vocals. I'm seeing them live next month in Germany (I'm traveling a hundred miles). This will be my first BABYMETAL concert and I'm very exited about it. I'm very happy for Momoko, or better, MOMOMETAL to be the new official member. Until next time!
Last night's concert in Yokohama was a great show! The new BABYMETAL has announced a world tour that will finalize in Japan in 2024! Maybe it will come to your place too! I hope you enjoy the powered up BABYMETAL LIVE 😊. Of course the band is still alive and well, playing as heavy as ever! Rest assured 😁.
I have been a fan since I accidentally saw the video of their LIVE performance of Karate at the 2016 Download Festival in the UK where 60,000+ British metal heads sang along with the girls. I was hooked and have now eatched multiple LIVE performances (video) of every one of their songs. Their LIVE performances are absolutely amazing.
👍 👍 Suzuka’s vocals are second to none. May I recommend their inaugural appearance on the RUclips channel The First Take? They performed a piano version of their new release Monochrome. The First Take invites famous artists to perform one of their songs in ONLY ONE TAKE. No auto tune no filters just raw vocals. If a mistake is made it airs as is. In my opinion (and I believe everyone else’s) Suzuka and Moa killed it.
You could react to the rest of the new album if you haven't listened to it. Outside of that, I recommend reacting to the bands Starset, Red, and Shinedown.
I'll look into the first two. Shinedown I pretty much know all of their past stuff and wasn't fond of their last album for some reason (may need to hear more of it). They are actually the group I have seen live the most number of times.

BABYMETAL's future is in the light✨

ユイちゃんの為にも、モモーメタルに頑張ってもらいましょう。2018年は本人たちも語ってました。辛年だったけどなんとかサポートミュージシャンやアベンジャーズで乗りきり4月から新体制でスタートです。
What are you thoughts on the video and the band? They are fun to watch live and they bring it.

In an entertainment world of self indulgence and vulgarity their talent, hard work, discipline and humble character is like a breath of fresh air.
Su-metal's voice cuts through my heart and soul while healing them at the same time.
Ditto.
👍 👍

@@the_eaglefan Starset - Manifest (Live), and RED - The War We Made
is where I would start.
